Coins Boards from 1956
I am doing a little cleaning around the house and came across these (2) coin boards circa 1956. I actually don't remember where I acquired them. The coins have been in there for soo long and are terminal as seen in the pics. Some wheaties, silver dimes, and a silver quarter. I am more wanting information on the boards, any value?
TIA

They look like a product that may have preceded the Whitman Bookshelf albums of the 1960s. I don't recall seeing them before. Hopefully some album collectors can provide some idea as to rarity and value.
No info as I was still putting my coins in jars/cans back then.
But,,,, Merry Christmas anyway!!

Merry Christmas to you and Linda!
1956 is a very good year.
I arrived that year.
A similar one came up on eBay with an internet search (not eBay search). Looks like it has a sleeve (possibly a pvc sleeve
). I can not read the bottom writing but the ebay listing has 1956. Asking 39.95.

I have one with the plastic cover, it had some nice toners in it when I bought it. I took a couple out and the rest are still in there

Perhaps with the closure of the San Francisco Mint in 1955 they tried to salvage the product and removed the Philadelphia/ Denver/ San Francisco printing, and copyrighted the new version in 1956.
