Perkdog is the Wemby of parlays. 👍

The Spurs ML would have been a killer.

The whole thing around Wemby was a psyops situation, so much different information and maybes

I understand why but it would have been much easier if it was "Wemby is healthy and will play a full game" lol

Probably could add a $1000 to those winnings if it was Spurs ML lol

Of course as you know, I was just kiddin' around with ya because we all had a good game. Nothing more fun with betting friends than kidding around a bit when everyone is happy after a win.

The reality is the 29-1 was a nice score. Even in retrospect, the ML was the right play. Wouldn't want to leave a fat 29-1 on the table, trying to get too greedy in that situation.

what a game last night. i just can't get enough of watching Wemby play. i was worried early on, but Mitch Johnson played it perfectly -- eased Wemby in in the 1st half, then unleashed him in the 2nd. and the pterodactyl took over lol.

and it appears as if it was a good night for you guys as well, including a 16$ bet that turned into almost 500$! 💪

gl today boys. not thrilled to bet against the Pats -- it's just what i think is going to happen. and if the Eagles lose to the Raiders, i'm going to go on a Portnoy-esque rant

To be honest the only reason I parlayed ML Bills/Green Bay was based on mathmatics. Will NE, Denver win 11 in a row? I gambled no.

    Story time.

So today my Sister invited me and my girlfriend over for food and to. watch the Pats game, my other Sister and my brother in law as well as another couple were attending.

Now all of them are church going and very relaxed but fun people, they don't bet and just love the Patriots, I "Love" the Pats but my betting comes first and that's the bottom line, since Brady retired from the Pats I've become emotionally unattached to them and strictly want my bets to win first no matter what, that's the cold hard facts

So against my better judgement I decided to go ahead and bet, I can't swear and be loud like I am amongst my buddies so knowing that I decided to go with an "Easy" bet which included Maye to throw for 160 yards ( Parlay with 10 other QB's to throw for 160 )

They all hit and of course Maye gets 155, I had to suck on it the entire time and watch Henderson run for 65 yard TD's which killed passing yards for Maye, everyone is screaming and high fiving and I had to pretend to be happy about it.

Not a fun day, that's the darker side of gambling, of course it's short money bet ($150 ) but I missed out on about $1200 winnings over 5 yards

I guess it's not "The darker side" because I don't need the $150 and some people lose their mortgage payments over gambling so it's not a big deal but it still ruined what should have been a funner time.

    Gambling is just ugly business.

I do love it though lol

losing money, no matter how much it is, is never funny. 5 yards for 1200$ is a swift kick in the jimmy. but i'm a firm believer that you need to inject levity into a loss whenever you can. it'll prove beneficial with subsequent bets (i.e., it'll lessen the chances of you losing your mind and going on tilt).

with that said, i had a funny visual pop into my head after i read your story. there you are at your sister's house and everyone is euphoric with the exception of you. steam is coming out of your ears and you're giving max effort to avoid completely losing it. then, the eruption. out of nowhere you start going all Dave Portnoy in front of your God-fearing family, yelling "prison" and "murder" incessantly at the tv.

sorry about yet another close call my man, but i enjoyed the story

What makes it ugly is you can do everything right, and still lose.

Overall, I had a very good day today, but it could have been excellent except for one prop which I went a bit heavy on. The Jaguars game I handicapped perfectly, not that it was that hard to do. I played a prop their top running back to get a measly 50 yards. Figuring correctly that the Jags were going to blow-out the pathetic Jets, and just hand the ball to their back to start running out the clock earlier than usual, and the back would get a lot of carries, and even with short yards to easily rack up over 50 yards. Well the Jags score 48 friggin' points, and the back only gets 12 carries for 32 yards. Are you kidding me?

I killed the Bears game under at 38.5. But came close to losing that. Didn't figure on the Bears scoring 31, but did figure correctly that good old Shedeur, who I can't stand, would bounce off his last game, and have a dismal effort against a good team. Well I've got a 4.5 point cushion, but Shedeur gets the ball inside the Bears 20 with around two minutes to play in the game. Browns sure of course ain't gonna kick a field goal. So then Shedeur gets the ball inside the 10, and I'm ready to go into my curse mode of a bad beat when the Browns score a pathetically cheap TD. But thank you Shedeur, he came thru for me by not scoring. LOL

i only told a few of my stupid stories for today to maybe make you feel a little better that as we all know, the breaks in sports betting do usually even out in the long run. Sometimes in the same day. You've come thru lately with some outstanding parlay hits, which I hope eases the pain just a bit on this particular bad beat parlay. You do have an amazing track record of hitting these high odds parlays, best I've ever seen. and even when ya miss, it's often close as unfortunately it was today.

Thanks and I'm not whining about it at all, as I said I'm. numb to it at this point

I have easily lost out on probably 7500 in winnings by not a whole lot, I'm talking parlays with 1 leg missing and literally just missing but it's a good reminder as to why I don't throw 1k and up sized bets in, believe me I've been tempted to throw a couple thousand at plays but I know how easy it is to lose and I don't want to go down that road because it's a dead end and will cost way too much and at the end of the day it's literally over nonsense.

I won't put myself through that nightmare ever

I think you said that you were a new online player? Not sure if that 300% profit boost is because of that, or something mentioned earlier in this thread. That with Polymarket now being a competitor in the marketplace, the bookies were likely going to increase the amount and frequency of their comps. Perhaps that 300% is a combination of both.

In any event, when those profit boosts are offered, ya gotta take it, especially a fat 300%. Even if ya don't see any game that you particularly like, just make a random bet because the odds are in your favor on that bet. IE, don't let those profit boosts expire.

Yea I realize that's easy to do when running hot or even. But even if running cold, ya still gotta take those profit boosts. That is if ya wish to have any chance of making money at sports betting in the long run.

New player with the online accounts in Missouri, yes. I may have mentioned a time or two that I have extensive history with the brick and mortar casinos, and have online sportsbook accounts that are valid when I cross the state line into Kansas. Lol

You might like this one. It would be sweet if the total tonight lands EXACTLY on 42.

    https://cleanuphitter.com/nfl/stats/nfl_common_scores.php

From 2000 thru 2025 the chance of an NFL game with a total score of 42 is 1.5%

Interesting that the highest is 44 at 3.84%
Second highest is 41 at 3.81%
Fifth highest is 43 at 3.46%

Considering the 42 is a much lower percentage than those three, more than 50% lower, sort of says, I think, that you're gonna need to root for an unexpected occurrence of some sort to have the best chance of hitting it. I'd guess that perhaps something like a missed extra point, safety, or whatever could get it done for ya,

Tell ya this much I CANNOT stand this stupid "NBA Cup" tournament, it is stupid on an epic scale.

I want to bet NBA PRA parlays but dealing with this nonsense and the minimal amount of teams playing throughout this whole stupid thing makes it difficult

It's regular season, field teams to play, forget about this moronic fake cup and concentrate on winning a real championship

    Completely agree.

I could envision the opening remark at the NBA owners meeting before coming up with this idea. "How can we squeeze another nickel out of our fans?".

only positive is that those guys have an incentive to play their best -- there's $ involved. if you're a player on the losing team tonight, you make 206k. if you're on the team that wins the cup, 530k each.

I'm liking the Knicks a little bit in tonight's game against the Spurs.

I think the Spurs might bounce a little bit off that adrenaline rush win over OKC. Also sometimes off an injury, the next day or so could bring some soreness and weakness, and perhaps Wemby may get a lot of minutes, but not play up to full capacity?

Haven't made a big executive final decision yet on playing this game, but it seems like ya either play the Knicks or don't play the game. Might play the Knicks ML and some Wemby under type props. Or I may take a nap and forget about it, and wake-up hissed that I didn't play it, or happy that I didn't play it. LOL

Why am I reading Seattle and the under for tonight?

Is it because it would make sense to think the Rams should handle Seattle and score some points?

Seattle couldn't muster a single TD last week and Darnold and JSN haven't been lighting it up.recently like before

Weather for the game appears to be somewhat windy with around a 25% chance of rain. Probably why the under is "only" 42.5 despite both QB's capable of lighting it up.

Of course ya can never accurately predict chit like the following, but it wouldn't surprise me to see some sustained drives, eating up the clock, going into or near the opponents red zone, and a possible pick or fumble occurs. Of course too many of those type of drives are killers when playing the over.

Another interesting aspect, is if the passing game is a bit tough out there, the Rams seem to have a better running game. Hence an advantage. So why are the Seahawks favored by -1.5 in the game?

Something just smells weird about this, by all accounts I. want to. utterly hammer LA but for some reason I'm nervous to

Thursday Night games have the potential to get very weird

Yep, less time to prepare, players nicked with less time to heal, and on top of that with this game, probably at least some inclement weather. May boil down to a crapshoot.

Could mean some long shot props hitting. But which ones is the question?

Very interesting night coming up. Thursday night football, OKC coming off a loss, and a lot of NCAA basketball action.

Notice the last time OKC lost a game over a month ago, the next game they blew-out their opponent. The line opened at OKC -14.5. I knew that line wasn't gonna stay there. Line now at -17.5. The whales are gonna destroy this ML and grab an easy 5% or whatever on their money. Unless as mentioned earlier the books may have capped whale ML wagering on OKC. Yes, ya might think the whales got stung on that last game. But I don't think that was a game that the whales plunged on. However this game they will, if they can.

Right now, a 100k ML bet on OKC nets ya exactly $6,666.67

Just in case anyone here might be interested in doing that. 😉

    OKC = easy money

Hit on two NCAA games, including Bradley that I really liked. Took a triple overtime to get the job done.

Decided not to play the Seahawks game in the spread or ML. But while handicapping it, Zach Charbonnet kept jumping out at me for some reason. So I only played an anytime touchdown with him, and he scores the first TD of the game.

Everything coming up roses lately. I'll enjoy it while I can, because of course it never lasts.

I think most people are expecting a shootout with LA winning 38-31

And my sneaky suspicion rang true

Will be betting against Broncos until the streak is over. It's at 11 in a row now. Was half right last week in my streak ending parlay. Bills ending Pats streak. Failed with GB losing to Denver to end Denver's run.
Never know. Can the Broncos run the table the rest of the way including the SB?

My buddy is thinking of dropping a bomb on Denver this weekend.

3 nights ago my itty bitty undergrad school played the #1 team in the country (Arizona).

    the line was -34.5

    final score?

    96-62

    half point.

tonight's hefty paycheck comes from BYU. the spread is almost identical.

will we cover tonight as well? 🤔

I got a $50 free play in my DK account, they had a free chance at a free play or parlay boost and I got lucky and hit the free play for $50 and I pushed it to another NBA PRA bet and it hit, I can't remember hitting NBA PRA parlays in back to back nights.

Lost $50 on the Alabama game in a SGP, I thought Alabama WR's were competent but apparently not

    @perkdog keep it rolling!

stress-free bet last night, which rarely happens. my school was getting 33.5 against #10 BYU and with 12 minutes left in the game they were down by 2. the type of game i wish i had put 55 beel-yun on, not 55.

Oklahoma out to 17-0 lead, then folds. Game turned on the dropped ball punt attempt by Oklahoma.
