He could be a legend at Ole Miss and hell get fired in 3 years if he struggles at LSU
this is exactly what i think will happen if he leaves, and it'll set his career back. he'll be back on the market looking for his 27th coaching gig in a matter of years, and where he lands won't mirror his situation at Ole Miss. he has an ideal thing going for him as it stands, and it'll be a huge mistake if he gives it up in hopes for even greener grass.
I just could never trust the guy with as much money as LSU is purportedly willing to throw at him. the guy always seems to be on the move, for myriad reasons.

I think he would have success for a while, but they have no patience for down years and he would end up getting fired. Ed O won a natty with the best offense in CFB history and was fired 2 years later.
It is a better job thats easier to recruit for and has more money, the whole state basically breeds HS football players to go to LSU with an insane amount of purple and gold schools.
I do think its a mistake but he probably will since he still hasnt said anything yet
Well I forget who said to wait for today because there would be some pretty good games gonna be happening but besides the OSU-Michigan game can anybody tell me of another good game today?

There were quite a few. LSU/Oklahoma, Penn State/Rutgers, Oregon/Washington
So now we have
SEC Bama Georgia
AAC who will be the G5 team Tulane and North Texas
B!G Indiana OSU
ACC UVA Duke. Cal did their best to lose the game and SMU just kept saying hold my beer
Big 12 TT and BYU
Hats off to both Georgia and Alabama for fighting their way through the season and into the SEC Championship. Neither team looks overpowering and both came close to losing yesterday, but that's been the story of the SEC all year, everyone seems able to win or lose any game in equal fashion.
Should be some good games next weekend and a potential re-shuffling of the order which will dictate the bracket. The Tuesday rankings will also influence that bracket and I suppose that Georgia will be the new Number 3, but who knows how far Texas A&M will slide down. It all provides us with a fitting end to a season that's been pretty crazy, teams moving up and down in the Top 10. To me there have been 4 teams that have played consistently all season: Ohio State, Indiana, Ole Miss and Notre Dame. They would be my choices for an eventual National Champion. Looking at how things are right now it might be that Indiana has the easiest path into the Championship Game, but anything can happen at this point in the season.

As a pre-cursor to the Tuesday CFP Poll these two polls, by College Coaches and Sportswriters, are in almost complete agreement. The only differences being a flip-flop of Ole Miss/Texas Tech at 5-6 and Vanderbilt/Miami at 12.
I wanted to go to Indianapolis. This is the biggest Big Ten Championship game in history #1 vs #2. But cant see spending $420 a ticket for the cheap seats.
USF coach going to Auburn
Tulane coach going to FL
Arkansas hires the Memphis coach
Oklahoma State hires the North Texas coach
Michigan State fires their coach
AAC title game that will produce the playoff team for the G5 now has both teams with a HC leaving
Kiffin going to LSU . Things are so bad between him and the school Kiffin has apparently told the offensive coaches he was going to take with him that if they dont leave now with him they can look for jobs elsewhere
Ole Miss is working on trying to keep as many as they can but its going to be down a few coaches which might cost them a home playoff game ranking

Nah, Iowa would probably be 10-2 this year if they played in the sec. I even doubt Alabama could beat them.
Iowa cant even beat Iowa State or SoCal. Theres not a ton of tomato cans like Michigan State, Nebraska, Rutgers, Wisconsin, Minnesota to rack up wins in the SEC
They wouldnt even be bowl eligible. They lost to every team they played that was even slightly good or better than that

Oklahoma survives
That one pass saved them for the playoff, not much will save them once they start.

It's criminal how many balls are being dropped by Auburn
Well I forget who said to wait for today because there would be some pretty good games gonna be happening but besides the OSU-Michigan game can anybody tell me of another good game today?

But he was a "Tough Guy" in the snow without a hat on!

Auburn vs Alabama would be so. much better if Auburn WR's would catch instead of dropping balls
I genuinely feel bad for Auburns QB, he is taking a beating
That and fumbling have been two of their favorite things on offense this year

Alabma vs Auburn is heating up. 🔥
Its insane how Auburn would at the very least be in the playoff conversion if they had some stickier gloves.
They play offense like they have feet for hands and grease on their gloves

Insane how many drops and near fumbles they have had
Auburn down 17-0 now tied in the 4th.
Anyone staying up til 2am to watch THE Irish?

I'm going to bed right after Auburn Alabama
Notre Dame "Should" pummel Stanford
Been their story all year. Maybe need to fire they equipment manager lol
They have way to much talent to have all these self inflicted wounds. Despite that theyre still in every game
Fire AJ Preller
ND is going to crush them

Well Auburn finally accomplished giving the game away
That kid decided to not go out of bounds but instead turn into opposing players to get lit up and give the ball away.
Auburn special late game fumble. They love late game turnovers

27-20 after Auburn being comically bad
Ty Simpson is a tough kid, like him or not he took some brutal hits, respect to him
I thought I was watching the bad news bears. Auburn just not a good team.
Georgia will be looking for revenge next week, and if Bama loses they will probably not make the playoffs with 3 losses.

I doubt they get in. The way it looks now is the current CFP Top 10 plus the ACC Champion and Group of 5 Champion.

There will be some good deserving teams getting left out. Miami deserves a spot imo because of the win over ND. Sec will have 4 or 5 teams for sure.

They wont unless they take ND out. Even at that point Texas and Vandy both have stronger cases than Miami to move up significantly

Four loss teams don’t belong in either poll. Mizzu and Tennessee being ranked at all is a complete JOKE.
Tennessee got pounded at home yesterday and still ranked? Unreal
I think Iowa would beat both those teams.
