I think this series is one of the most beautifully designed coins that came out of the early 20th century coinage renaissance. One of my favorite series.

I agree and it was a favorite of mine before I crossed over to Early Gold. So many really nice SLQ's out there. The hits keep coming for you. Nice.

Those coins are very nice. They don't have the rub on the knee or down the shin which some of these coins, which are graded Mint State have.
As for the design, I think that it is attractive when it is well struck and in Mint State or AU. I don't think that it wore very well once in circulation.
