Two perfect proofs
Was comparing all my trade dollar proof keepers under the right light and I can see flaws (lines, etc) on each and every one except these two coins. Watery flawless fields:

Having seen some of your collection in the past I am guessing you are going to be making a few people very happy in the near future. good luck with your sale. James
Awesome trade dollars! Have never owned a Proof trade dollar. I am sure one of your culls would be a great start.
What is the right light? Joey
I think you’re assigning a whole new meaning to “culls”.😀

Mercy!
The 76 is amazing..
It is. I grade it 68
I dont think they come much better than that.

Looks better than a 68.
Wow! just Wow!
Great coins
A lot of Proof coins look better than 68 in images, becaise their grade-limiting hairlines usually aren’t visible.

Agreed - but in this particular case there are none and I so stated in the OP.
In this case, I don’t doubt it.

Is the 1876 really not a cameo as the grade shows, in your opinion?
The photos sure make it look like one.

What is that scratch or “ die spur “ doing , pointing up on the lap of Ms Liberty on the 1876 trade dollar. Just what is it ? It does stand out for me.
No. Here’s a group pic where it’s the 3rd coin. I’d give the 1874 (2nd coin) cameo way before the 1876
Any significant provenances on these beautiful pieces?
I’m still going with the ‘80 Simpson for best eye appeal. I mean if I had to pick just one. 🤔😆
Yes. They are all owned by Legend. Certainly the greatest proof trade dollar collector of all time and one of the best US coin collectors ever, period.

Legend owns them? I thought @tradedollarnut did. Regardless, I echo your sentiments about him as a collector.

If I misspoke, apologies, but separate from Laura, I always thought @tradedollarnut = Legend. I have an ex-Legend T$ in my collection and his coins have always been pedigreed as Legend Collection.
Either way, I mean @tradedollarnut and his collection and taste are sublime.

Way back when I first invested in Legend Numismatics I chose to name my sets after them as a marketing ploy. I still am a minority owner but have more recently named my sets TDN. These are “TDN‘s tissue toners.”
Other than the obvious Simpsons, the 1879 Ngc in this pic was from the famous [to trade dollar collectors] Silberman proof set.

I have gotten pretty good at judging coins offered on the Internet from photos. Proof coins are another matter. I have to see them to buy them.
On my lower level, here is my Proof Trade Dollar which is a PR-64.

beautiful coins! Any chance of a video upload of you rotating each side so we can see more of what you see?

I cannot grade proof coins to save my life which is why I stay away from them.
These proof Trade dollars do look pretty. Are they considered to be on the dark side tone-wise?
I don’t know how to upload a video
