1867 shield nickel - please help me to determine the grade of this coin

Dear US coin collectors and enthusiasts,
I found another US coin in a mixed collection I purchased recently. In my eyes it does not look too bad - wich grade would you suggest for this coin and do you think it would get a straight grade or are the scratches on the shield too much of a damage?
Thank you in advance and best regards,
Göttinger

The photos are too overexposed to be useful for grading.

Very nice coin . . . with an apparent AU55-58 look. As in many cases, it is hard to determine luster or hairlines from a picture. To me, this would be a perfect 'album' coin . . . textbook "Dansco 7070". Not going to encourage you to submit (not cost effective), although I HAVE done so with similar coins just for fun.

    Great piece . . . . thyanks!

those marks are making me think i shouldn't comment. they may be acceptable

i do want to note this is the "No Rays" variety and you miht edit this into the thread title (ooops. looks like with rays is worth more)

it's true the lighting is harsh and makes it hard to grade.

here is an auction for a problem-free AU55 (not saying it is, just being conservative) in a PCGS holder

    https://www.pcgs.com/auctionprices/item/1867-5c-no-rays/3794/-8751454820414867599

    it's listed as $120

The coin looks approximately AU55 to me and I don’t think the shield marks would preclude a straight grade. However, if the coin actually has an unusual pinkish hue, as it appears on my screen, that could increase the odds of a detail grade.
