    Of course they were posted by "CRAZYhounddog" himself ,,, I know this is off topic but I like the PCGS label graphics. I need to ask the question however - is that a hound dog jumping off the ledge or another breed and is the dog jumping at an Eagle?

    @retirednow: great post! Would you mind also posting it in my “Post your Patterns” thread? It would also be a nice fit there.

    He posts some really nice coins. I can’t think of a label I like more than his!

    As a GSA collector, I thought that Newman’s one and only GSA dollar was kind of interesting.

    It’s a crazy dog jumping off a cliff going for the eagle. Crazyhounddog.
    Thanks😉

    Nice piece from the Bass Collection.
    I need to add the companion piece to this one for historical perspective.
    This is my J305 from the Danali collection (Not sure who was the real name behind this collection)

    When the J305 and your J312 designs were formally submitted in 1863 to Secretary of Treasury, Salmon Chase for consideration for the new motto. A letter back to James Pollock (the Mint Director) on December 9, 1863, Secretary Chase stated:

    _“I approve your motto, only suggesting that on that with the Washington obverse the motto should begin with the word OUR, so as to read OUR GOD AND OUR COUNTRY. And on that with the shield, it should be changed so as to read: IN GOD WE TRUST” _

    @Copperindian . I am sure it doesn't matter that much but I believe your 1869-S is also the far rarer F 102. Mine is in slightly lower condition. congrats. james

    This one’s a score:

    MS 66RD. They’re only 5 of these, none higher. Obviously, the 1867 IHC is an extreme rarity at this level.

    Provenance: 1) Dayton collection (at the time it was retired, it ranked #3 in the IHC Basic Registry);
    2) Epstein (#1 all time IHC Basic Registry set).
