This will be a cycle for the next few days as people log in only to be greeted by a waiting room or a very slowed down website
Exactly! The waiting room that greeted me said 1 minute, then shot to 1 hour. Anybody want to buy a CLOUDFLARE tee- shirt? Do they need to keep the waiting room active 24-7? Or does it kick in automatically when more than ten people click on their website?
I went to the Marine ase page at 230am eastern and was put in a waiting room.
Was logged in and on the page at 645, at 727 I was put in a waiting room after having just a normal page before that. Able to get in just in time to see add to bag (unsuccessfully)
The market has spoken. Premium right now is $25 at Pinehurst if you want to cash one in. Otherwise not worth any more than the silver. But good news, the dollar is again moving down against silver. So either way, a decent investment gamble if you can get one through cloudflare.
You can say that for all US Mint silver offerings. Silver will be $200 or more against the dollar eventually. So buy ‘em if you like ‘em and your heirs will be happy you did.

Pinehurst ≠ the market. Plenty of interest at $187 on Pure right now. (The caveat is that Pure requires you to ship within 3 days, so people selling on the platform today won't be able to comply given mid-Dec shipping.)
Nobody who has them in hand today will let them go for less than $300 unless for some reason they failed to grade 70. But in 6 months, just the value of silver, which who knows at this point what that will be. 350?

Not bots. This was planned to filter out flippers and allow big quantities to their better customers. This type of activity is done with a purpose. No rules. No regulation . Do whatever you can get away with .
If it was being done for a fair reason it would be clearly stated. What you don’t know will definitely hurt you.

Agree. If you look though, Pure acknowledges that it is pre-sale and gives more time to complete the transaction. Looks like Bid is down to $150 now though.

Nobody? People are selling on Pure with recent transactions at $150 & $175.

Are you maybe looking at the Army listing? They acknowledge the pre-sale for that coin, and the bid is currently $150. I still see $187 for Marine.

Nonsense.
If they wanted to sell them to their better customers, they simply would sell them. No one would know. It would be ludicrous to pretend to make them available and direct them to certain parties.

You are partially correct. The sale had already happened. The system requires to enter in ATS to sale. What you see for seconds at morning boot up at 7:30 is the add transaction immediately followed by the sale transaction. A flash on the screen as the transactions update weather it is small quantities or 10,000. This also accounts for the crashing buy prices of the big retailers. P.S. I do not base this on theory alone but on my experience setting up and installing inventory systems for Electronics Boutique and QVC and system integration with inventory control and ordering systems for major distributors.
It is not some out of control clerk playing with the numbers or bots but just normal updating of the system. If you want to know the truth you will need to see a transactional sales register.

With no household limit, it's not going to take long to clear out the entire inventory for folks using multiple accounts.
I already put one in my cart on Tuesday. No waiting room today, it went available and I went through checkout, got to payment screen and entered my security code and they flipped too unavailable. I would think if you had one in the cart and actively processing checkout it would hold until complete. Not so. THKS!

Regardless of who grades these or whether they come in at “perfect” (whether or not it is a true 70), silver American Eagle and Maples and some other rounds/coins have a history of spotting.
At that point, regardless of the grade, your coin is worth spot or less.
For me, it is too much of a gamble. $699 to me is unimaginable.
I like issue price, only. Or a 69 grade close to issue price.
I was only asking to find out which service they/he was selling, it wasn't an issue of 'one's better than another', each of us is entitled to prefer coins in one holder over others, I own coins graded by all 4 TPG's, though I prefer our hosts. It's just that he does sell coins graded by all 4 of the major TPG's, though seems to be heavily into ANACS, followed by NGC....I believe he sells more from ICG than from our hosts. It was only a query........

Unless they have to load them into the system in order to be able to sell them. To anyone.
It's worth keeping in mind that that "ATS" html code is not really meant for public consumption. It's not like they are advertising them or anything.
If 10,000 were being sold, 99 at a time, one would think someone on here would be able to complete a purchase. What @HATTRICK suggests actually makes more sense.
The 10K are in the system, and are immediately directed where they are meant to go, with no HHL. Few if any actually hit the web. Which is why no one can complete a purchase, even though 10K are ostensibly available for purchase.
Whatever. You don't see me screaming about it now, because the Mint can indeed do whatever it wants. And, after the first 24 hours, with the HHL lifted, they don't actually owe anyone anything if this is how they want to distribute them.

The drama is HOT, just like the Army privy !! Makes for good collecting !
Now I hope the Mint cleans up the product quality and destroys all the bad quality products so far minted. (fat chance huh?)
I am presuming that this is why the late shipping date has transpired.
