    You think 65 huh.
Can you explain the worn die strike and why you think 65?

I am in the technical 58 boat as well, with the slightest hint of wear on buffalos hump, but could see a market grade as MS something. Looks to have very clean surfaces and I find it pleasing.

58 As @TomB said…i see a little rub on the hip

I will gamble and go 64 based on my interpretation of the photos, luster, and surface preservation. Without seeing it in hand, a reasonable grade range is plausible.

This is one that needs to be seen in hand as there are reasonable concerns expressed here that really impact the grade opinion.

Its a nice looking coin. As far as grade I'll leave that with more experienced folks.

    Agree with @coinkat

Based on these pics Id be straddling AU 58-MS 62/3. Need a better idea of luster though.

    Nice coin!

Asking for grade opinions on a coin already up for auction is generally frowned upon.

For everyone else, this coin is currently for sale at Stacks.

Nope I was going to if it stayed a little lower but the last hour of the auction it jumped another 1000 bucks so I stayed out. Im looking for a 3 leg but I told myself I wouldn't go over 5k so I'll keep looking

When a coin is actively for sale, it is bad form to post it here asking for grade opinions, whether it will sticker, etc, etc

This is a widely used board. One shouldn't promote their own coin (that's what the BST is for), denigrate others' coins (the consigner very well may be on this board), or laud coins (bidders may be here and drawing attention to that target will cost them money). Asking for a grading opinion will check one of those three boxes.

There's also the fact that having a large board do the hard work of actually grading the coin for you to see if you can get a quick grab off of it is just a crappy way of doing things.

If you want to play the game of trying to find under graded coins, learn to grade yourself and don't ask others to do it for you.

EDIT: If you're dying of curiosity, ask AFTER the auction. If you want to bid on it, you'll have to use your own judgement or ask privately by sending a DM, talking to your local coin dealer, etc.

Thanks, some things I would of never thought of.

Thats not what I was doing, I definetly do my homework on coins im interested in and had my own opinion on the grade. Regardless of what everyone said on here what they they thought the grade was I was already set on buying it if it stayed under a certain price. I just simple wanted to hear people's opinions. Plus if you really think about it that would never work on here because people's grading opinions are all over the place. Some guys are down to au58 on this coin and it goes all the way up to ms64 for some others. So how would that really help me decide to buy or not??? Anyone could geiss between those numbers on this coin lol.
Anyways this post was just out of curiosity and I'll probably post something like this again because I enjoy watching the auctions and just hearing opinions, but next time I'll state that's its a coin for sale and im just curious what others think. Once again if this actually upset anyone I apologize cause that wasnt the intent.
