My most recent, I’ve been wanting to pick up an ‘02 DBH and this popped up. Such a scarce coin to find decent, and I love this date in general. Light coin gray, it’s not perfect but I think it’s pretty nice. My pics suck, as always, but interested in your opinions. Thanks.
Well might as well give this Doily another posting. Didn't think I would own one of these. Very few out there with a Green Bean. Also maybe one that is not so average.

@Barberian . Great post and great coins. Thank you, made my whole morning. James
Thanks @seatedlib3991. This is a great hobby! Here are some more raw coins off eBay.

Here is a group of some of my favorite Half Dollars.

Over the last year I've been building a 1964-70 Silver Business Strike, 8 coin Short set. Toned.
All are PCGS MS67+ with the exception of the '69-D, a 67. All pics below(condensed to one) are TV's from our hosts.
5 down, 3 to go for this set...

A few of my favorites:

a few of my faves:

The ‘05/4 overdate is one of my favorites, along with ‘17/3.
I sort of think of this as a confederate coin….

Not much of a collector of 20th century coins, but I love this one. I think Walkers are top 5 most beautiful U.S. coins all time.
@GuzziSport
That’s a nice foray into lesser travelled territory sir. Who doesn’t love an OGH/Gold CAC combo?…….and that’s no 1940s WLH either!
Always tough to tell from pics but that coin looks 65ish by today’s standards. (not that I’d ever try to find out)
Thanks @MEJ7070! given the “bells and whistles”, a rather scarce first year of issue, and the eye appealing, undergraded appearance, I couldn’t resist…. It still retains a “keeper” status despite it being my only coin issued after 1880!
My last half dollar, purchased over the summer.

Kennedys are my quest...
I bought this coin this past July.
PR67+CAM, w/CAC. The PCGS Pop is only five, with none finer. (In DCAM, the PCGS top grade is 66, and there’s only one of those, and that one does not merit a CAC sticker).

I really like this half, gotten raw in Europe & very original with underlying silky luster in hand (is it underrated as I have seen few in recent years?):

Well, just Love coins, period.
@7Jaguars . I always find it hard to make statements like "underated" or fully grasp things like "scarce", "semi-rare" etc.
I collected Seated Halves for over 30 years. The San Fran coins from 1870 to 1872 are usually very hard to come by. Large coin melts were going on during that time in History so stated mintages are ambigious at best. I consider the 1873-S with arrows to be one of the top 5 hardest to find San Fran coins. I put the 1872-S in the next group of 5; rank as you like.
It is also looks like a very attractive coin with what looks like substantial detail and luster. Congrats. James

Thanks for that - I certainly can not at this stage of life play in the deeper end of the pool but saw this and knew it to be a good one; I am much more "in the game" when it comes to British Victoria Young Head Halfcrowns, which are fairly similar in size.

Not new & definitely not favorites:
Ben having a bad day.
JA “special”. How long would it take for him to reject this one? Maybe 2 seconds?
