Anyone know how long "temporary" is?

Lots of folks trying to verify certs from the messages I am getting.

I'm no IT guy, but you would think that an important service like verifying certification numbers would have been resolved by now. Please don't shoot the messenger. ☺️
I saw it was down Sunday afternoon. Great timing leading up to the GC auction and wanting to look up a few things...I wasn't bidding, just wanting to look. I could imagine some people were frustrated and remain so.

It may be helpful for some to see that the TrueView site is functional. Obviously, not all PCGS coins have TrueViews - but for those that do, you can verify the grade and look at the images.
Replace the cert# below with your own cert# in the URL bar (since there isn't an entry field for you to type a new number into):

This is the way. It worked for me just now

PCGS Cert Verification is currently offline. We’re working on a solution and hope to restore the service as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we work to enhance the PCGS customer experience.

thank you for the trueview link.

You're welcome! Looks like they got the cert pages fixed now - but this TrueView link is still helpful when you want to download one of the images, e.g, of the obverse or reverse specifically...

They are down since last Thur evening/Fri morning. That are either hacked or need to pay a lot of attention to their engineering practices.
Btw not the first time of long downtime this year. Probably they think that no one really cares.
My Account and Set Registry applications are still not working. Might "celebrate" the whole week of downtime later today.
I'm pretty sure, there won't be even apologies from the company..
Outspoken and upset alt?
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
Drunk?
And, the answers to the two questions are:
“Outspoken and upset alt?” Most likely.
“Drunk?” Doubtful.

When they fixed this latest issue, I had to un-install and then re-install the app for my I-Phone to get it to work.

Kennedys are my quest...
I tried re-installing.
Doesn't work this time.
Considering I don't drink, even more doubtful

My cert verification app is working just fine; however, my set registry app is not. The latter happens periodically, so I’m hoping there isn’t too much into that.

Made a small research with the help of ChatGPT and found out that it looks like CU recently opened an engineering office in Mexico.
My intuition says that might be a reason for this long-running issue and then it sounds non-promising at all. Though it's just a speculation, let's see.
Overall it's not acceptable that applications are down for more than a week. Usually even 1 hour of downtime is a big failure...
Finally the apps were fixed today, after being dead for 2 weeks. Not acceptable in terms of downtime but happy to see the resolution.
