Is that the first time you’ve looked up a coin and saw that? If so, if you look up enough others you’ll probably see it again, eventually. Many times, it’s a technical issue that can be corrected (hopefully without the coin being sent back to PCGS).
If I wanted the coin and didn’t have any concerns regarding authenticity, etc. that wouldn’t stop me from pursuing it. But to each his own..

I've looked up hundreds of coins, this is the first time I've seen it
It's likely just system issues. I get the same message when looking up different certs on the app. On a browser, this message appears.

The system is down at the moment. I get the error messages too.

I noticed this yesterday. There is a quarter on BST I looked up a few days ago and it worked fine. When I tried again yesterday, I received the error. I'm sure there is an issue with the cert lookup database at the moment.
Sometimes the mobile app works for cert verification even when the web page has technical issues
How are they going to fix it, if it is "unavailable for maintenance"?
As of a minute ago, the system is still being updated.
Try again in an hour or so.

Removed... same experience
BST: KindaNewish (3/21/21), WQuarterFreddie (3/30/21), Meltdown (4/6/21), DBSTrader2 (5/5/21) AKA- unclemonkey on Blow Out
still down
UGH!
I hope they get this issue resolved before GC auctions ends tonight.
Need the pop reports and Pcgs pricing.

I am considering bidding on another GC coin tonight with the same issue. Interestingly, when I enter the same serial number in the “what if” section of the PCGS Registry, it addresses the coin as if the serial number works just fine. Perhaps the OP should check that out as well (to see if that is the case with his coin in question) in order to feel a bit better about more easily correcting the PCGS system on the subject coin next week if that is the same case (as I do with the coin I am pursuing).
Just my 2 cents.
Wondercoin.
You should be able to get that information through the Heritage auction archives. If you need any assistance feel free to message me.

Of all the CU error messages on pcgs.com, this one is the most error message.
Did I do that right?
chopmarkedtradedollars.com
Lol, not bad for your first time. Just a bit of fine tuning.
The noun at the end is redundant. It should read: "Of all the CU error messages on pcgs.com, this one is the most error."
Think of it this way: If someone had a fake coin you wouldn't say "Of all the fake coins, this one is the most fake coin", but instead would say "Of all the fake coins, this one is the most fake".
Hope this helps. Follow me for more sarcasm advice.
Yes, your post is summing up it good with not too many grammar.
I got the same thing too last night on the website
If you’re a big advocate of eliminating redundancies, in your example below, would it be going to far to also omit “fake”, which I’ve placed in bold font?😀
“Think of it this way: If someone had a fake coin you wouldn't say "Of all the fake coins, this one is the most fake coin", but instead would say "Of all the fake coins, this one is the most fake".

Of all the nitpicky posts, this one was the most nitpicky.
Not to nitpick😉 but you should have said “ Of all the nitpick posts, this one was the most
“

Kennedys are my quest...
Still down for me too...
For pops & pricing, the "Price Guide" 'search' function gets me to pops & pricing.
In some cases, the coin w/cert that I'm looking for is found in the "View More Images" area...
I have never seen a TruView photoshopped with different cert numbers, but imagine it could be possible. If the slab picture shows the same cert, is there really an issue?
Wayne, the PCGS pop and pricing work for me

On the blink; I was looking to check the coin with the restoration question, but no dice on that.
Mike,
Well let's just say that my research on pop and value was right on and I put in a serious bid.
I did not even get a place or show finish.
I still lost by a ton. LOL

PCGS Cert Verification is currently offline. We’re working on a solution and hope to restore the service as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we work to enhance the PCGS customer experience.

You're both way off. What would make something "more fake" than something else. It is either fake or it is genuine. If you insist on the complex construction: "off all the fake coins, this one is." A little yoda-esque.
The simplest construction is: this coin is fake.
Now, nitpicking could be a matter of degree. However, the phrase "of all the nitpicky posts, this one was the most" is extremely interesting. The sentence itself is nitpicking about the nitpicking which inherently makes it more nitpicky than the original. As such, it is self-defeating.
Now, since I am now nitpicking about the nitpicking of the original nitpick, I have subsumed both prior picks moved when farther up the spectrum.

Considering that we were joking around, I don’t see how we could be “way off”, unless (heaven forbid) we fell way flat in the humor department. Fortunately, hopefully, you were doing the same and subject to being way off, too.
