Beautiful coins!
I'm currently working on building a set of Type 1 P mint coins. But I'm also clearly buying other mint marks. This series has so many coins (across dates and mint marks) that it will be keep me entertained for a lifetime. I was all over the place for many years (morgans, saints, $10 Libs etc), but I think I've found my calling.
I'm focusing my limited financial resources on harder to find coins. When that 1855 MS63+ came up for sale at Heritage, I HAD to snap it up. There is a single coin graded higher with a CAC sticker (MS64) that was last seen in 2006 and a single MS65+ (no CAC). These are the same coin, as per Doug Winter.
Extremely impressive! Without the discovery of a shipwreck hoard, these coins range from very hard to virtually impossible to find in Mint State.
