I'll plug two more holes in the next few weeks.
From Lincoln proofs, type coins to high end gold. She's worked at whatever level I want to play. I have a #1 MPL set. I want to have a top 5 gold type set. She will make it happen
Without any photos this really does seem like sort of a general advertisement.
I was sad to see the auctions go....I had just started winning a few!
the wording makes it seem like an ad
Hiw about this;

No this link worked for me, no prob.
He’s got some nice looking coins.

Congrats. On your collection! They’re a little higher grade than I usually deal with.😉
Curious, are they stickered coins? I know the 1801 Eagle is but didn’t check any more.
Everything is stickered. I don't think she will sell a coin that is not CAC. All of mine are.
Do you have an account at the registry site? 🤔
i don't have a registry account and can't view them
but they do have an eye for the lookers

Sorry about that, I gave the wrong link. Try this and no,
I don’t have an account.👍
I’ll fix the link in my first post.

Thx - that works.
Love your 1826 $5
That must be some budget😂
I always appreciate seeing exceptional coins.
Dare we ask, "What was your budget?"
And how do you view your expenditures?
Love your 1826, 1833 and 1834 half eagles. You are putting together a really nice set of gold.
And I don’t mind you giving credit to the dealer that has helped you.
"Look up, old boy, and see what you get." -William Bonney.
The biggest thrill for me is in the hunt; finding and buying coins myself for my collections. I don’t think I’d get the same satisfaction if someone else was assembling the collection for me.
That said though, for those big coins in the deep end of the pool, it’s certainly nice to have an experienced dealer that you trust to consult with.
I agree 110% with @DMWJR. Laura has a tremendous ability to find or “make” coins for me. She’ll sometimes do what I won’t do - she’ll buy an unstickered coin graded by PCGS, and submit it to CAC for a sticker. It doesn’t always work, but when it doesn’t, she knows I won’t buy it. Or, she’ll buy a CACG coin, or NGC stickered coin if she thinks it’ll cross to PCGS. Lately though, PCGS has been very tough.
The cherry on top is her pricing is super fair. She works very tight! Like @DMWJR, I can’t sing her praises high enough!
While my budget is higher than most collectors, it is mainly mid-four figure coins, and Laura is comfortable with that!

I have bought several coins from George at Legend. He was great to work with. They definitely cater to collectors with your kind of "budget".

What a wonderful set! Way to go, Doug!

Thank you all, but I can't say how much I appreciate how she has improved my collecting experience. I should have posted a link to the set:

They are all phenomenal coins. I didn't really have a budget starting out and didn't want limitations. Just the ability to pay for the coins when they came available. If I didn't have the funds, I didn't buy. But I was having so much fun with this goid type set that I sold my big IHC set earlier this year to help fund it.
Seriously wow, major added bonus is these are all beaned it seems.
Nice having a @Morgan White side note for added insight
Yes, I agree with this. Finding the Coins, myself, was the fun part and saved me a lot of money by cutting out the middleman. I also devoted all my free time to searching for walkers. It was like a second job for me. I found some spectacular coins. A dealer can’t afford to do that, which severely limits your perspective purchases and availability choices.
I once gave a dealer my ‘want list’ and I never heard from him again. Besides, if a Coin I need shows up in a major auction; I don’t want someone else bidding against me, so that I can buy it later from them for more money.
That being said Legend is a great outfit. I do miss their Auctions. I purchased my 1937-S MS 66 CAC Walker from them and it’s spectacular. Best color, luster and strike that I’ve ever seen for the issue.
To quote a contractor that I know:
“Given enough money, anything can be accomplished.”
Same goes for building a great set of coins..🪙
Sometimes, it’s better to be LUCKY than good. 🍀 🍺👍

I don't disagree and would never tell you how to collect. I did the hunt for years with mixed results. At this point, Laura does the hunting and recommending. I'm content with having a great set.
I bought some very rare patterns from Legend at the end of last year. Top notch coins at pretty reasonable prices. Some were purchased less than their last auction appearance sale prices. Definitely recommend them as a dealer!
This was a special coin she "found" for my set. It was in an NGC holder, and of course crossed and beaned
This coin is a stunner! Surprised it didn't PL at least!

Proud follower of Christ!
How is that not PL?
It wasn't resubmitted. At her advice, we are waiting until the set is complete before we resubmit for regrade. Some of these are really upper tier coins that should
And who amongst us would argue that? lol sorry
Registry sets have no appeal for me, but that is one awesome set of gold.
