Paid a very strong price for these Compugrade Saints a few years ago - looking better every day!

Saw these back when gold was a lot cheaper and offered $4000 for each - was buried at the time but things are looking better!

One of the trophy slabs! Nice coins with a significant melt value as well!
I regret not bidding a bit more on the Compugrade DMPL Morgan that was auctioned off in the last year.

I hesitate to extrapolate too much from thin data (so I'll offer this without specific comment), but this is eBay's TeraPeak research data for CompuGrade Morgans:

From personal knowledge, the last three sales (within 60 days or so) were around $200 (I'm not sure the $279 relisting of the "sold" $289 is legit). That's down from $250 and ignores the doubling in silver spot...

The premium for a $250 coin can't really be extrapolated to a $4000 coin.

The Compugrade non-Morgans, samples or those with all the details on the label bring stronger premiums.

It's hard to get excited about an ugly Morgan graded 60.2, for example.

I'm not familiar with "Compugrade" -- just a sexy name of a fly-by-night grading firm or did they employ computers or scanners to evaluate coins ?

So you are saying you paid a crazy amount of money for 2 super common Saints a long time ago and that if gold goes up just a bit more you could finally break even.??

No, there is still a significant premium for the holder, no matter the bullion price.
