Do you have a coin or coins you prefer to keep raw that would grade well?

I have a decent accumulation of them. I am not saying record breaking or top pop but just nice coins you prefer to enjoy raw?
Feel free to post them. Im sure many would be interested. I can only post the obverse. Software problem but the reverse is just as nice.

If I find a nice toned modern proof, then it gets sent in.
If I think a attractive coin in high grade, I will take a shot.
Got alot of really nice coins that likely fall just short of break even that hang around.
Feel responsible to future collectors in a way.

I have a few, even a couple that I started to fill out the submission form and have them in flips with all the info on the flip. After a thorough second review I decided my heart was driving the thought to submit and never sent them in.
My Collection of Old Holders
Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
Actually, that would be 90% of my collection.

Unless they less MV vs slab cost - no.
Possibly. Never really scrutinized them that well. Probably will stay raw as well even if grade able. No care to get on that treadmill.
Old hairlines would get this in a genny holder. I don’t need to spend ~$50 to see it in a Details slab. It’s nicer than the average 7070 example.
All coins original XF/AU (except 69/69 and circulated patterns):
Most coins will slab w/o "details." Tough set to complete:
@gorebels, after collecting and occasionally dealing in coins for over 50 years, I’ve become a bit jaded…. But that Whitman folder of half cents is something I’ve never seen, and I think it’s very cool 😎!
We have a member in our coin club, "Sandy" who has a number of these quality type sets and collections in folders. A local accountant friend who has a lot of coins that should be certified, he keeps telling me he'll get them graded sooner or later. In my opinion it is vital to get coins certified if they are of significant value.
@gorebels I agree the half cent folder is quite impressive. I do not believe I have seen a comparable collection! congratulations on the set!

I have a few pieces, which probably could be graded, but the expesnse is much higher these days than it once was. I worked through a dealer when I had a lot of my collection done, and I don't have those cantacts now. This is the only raw coin which I should have graded.
I've got lots of tokens, which could be graded, but the expense is the key. When I was dealer, the way it worked was that most of the coins came back with the grades I expected. Some pieces were undergraded and sometimes, you got "a gift." With some of my tokens, it would have to be "one and done," because doing it multiple times would make grading them a bad choice.
I have quite several medals which should be graded. The trouble is, I hate the big slabs they come in, which takes up too much room in a safe deposit box. The good thing about the slabs is that they protect the medals from edge bumps, which is a problem. Here's my best raw medal. Those who collect inaugural medals know what this is. For those who don't, I'll post the story if you ask me.
Just because it would mess up the album look if it was slabbed. 😂 🤣
I have quite a few GSA dollars that are ungraded (not the common date 1882-1884s) that would grade well. I also have a type set in the Dansco album, but nothing in there is a crazy high grade.
I’m waiting for @Eddie to post, he has some amazing early US raw coins...
You're probably going to be waiting for a while...

Oops, chose the wrong one.
@Eddi was the forum member I intended.
I got a few....
by chance did you happen to check for any varieties?
I have a number of really nice coins that will stay "raw" for as long as I own them. I learned how to grade long ago and don't need a TPG to agree with me on every single coin I own.I will never understand WHY people will send in for grading well-circulated common-date coins where the cost of submission is MULTIPLES of the value of the coin. Money to burn for that but me trying to get ten spot out of a raw coin the Redbook says is worth $20 is like pulling quills out of a porcupine.
Whoever is careless with the truth in small matters cannot be trusted with important matters.
Nope, set was mainly completed in the early 1960s.
No - unless raw junk box material I don’t invest on expensive raw coins. No go for me.
Please excuse me for being a bit late.
I am certainly not an expert when it comes to grading, let alone problem free grading, but here are some of my coins which I believe could grade, barring a few:
You made yourself a custom album! 👍 I kinda did the same thing when I was a kid with Scotch tape. 🤣
@gorebels ... wow! I've been collecting early copper for decades and I've never seen anything approaching your Half Cent collection... inspiring!
@Eddi ... where to begin?!! Your 1804 LC is spectacular! Ditto the 1794 Half-Cent, the 1791 GW, Fugios... others...
I have a few humble contributions...

I've got a bunch of raw 20th century coins in assorted albums that would grade well.
Here are a dozen examples:
U.S. Type Set
@SkyMan - I have some Washington's that look like yours in a Dansco. Terrible pictures but you get the idea.
Stuff only worth slab cost or less - raw coin inventory.
My raw coins are inexpensive material (markup accordingly) in 2x2 whose role is help pay expenses of the business. I don’t buy expensive raw coins.
One more to push in the hole… a low grade 1796. And I will do it before I die.
Some raw proof Franklins inherited from brothers estate. However might send in and assign grading cost as inventory cost, expense shpg , fees etc.
