I also searched rolls of 63 and 63-D Lincolns several years ago. The OP coin pictured is very nice but I see it as a nice 65, maybe a 66 on a good day. There are just too many ticks for a 67. Send it in and see what happens. PCGS is just brutal on these early Memorial cents!

I have a few '63-D OBW rolls and the couple of rolls I have gone through have some decent coins in them I think, I mean who wouldn't like 62 year old bright red copper? But not sure that they would grade high enough to warrant sending them in. In fact I am sure of it!

are you going to compare a 36 to a 26-s? No the strikes are different and so much more... Why keep posting photos of BU No 1963-d images when you are trying to get a 63-d graded?
Like me posting a 1917 and compare it to a 25-s; There are differences... Nuances of each date make them easier or harder to find. Some come with BOOMING luster and some come with matte looks... I know you think you found the top pop 63-d and I hope you did... But please stop posting 61, 62 and 64 dates trying to compare... They are different

I don't post many words because I am not here to argue and cause problems. I post and have posted other 60's Lincoln cents especially recent ones showing the grades for the picture I attach . They surprise me , don't seem to surprise most on here. With coins in the condition they are in getting a MS67 V/S the MS67 Clackamas1 posted is Night and Day. I assume graders grade Lincoln cents not just specialize in 1 year so when I see what I see there should be no surprise that someone kinda new would see what gets a 67 these days and thinks hmmm mine seems just as good if not better and thinks how I do.
