Today I am a US Citizen. Post an Amazing US Coin!

PhilArnoldPhilArnold Posts: 165 ✭✭✭✭✭

Not to draw too much attention to myself, but I’ve been a part of the United States numismatic community for 20 years now, and I’d like to share the news with you that yesterday I took the oath to become a US citizen. My wife was there to share the moment with me, and there was also delegation from GreatCollections in attendance including @ianrussell

After the ceremony the GC team threw a little party back at the office with a patriotic carrot cake. Then I photographed this beautiful pattern for an upcoming auction:

That is, of course, an NGC coin. Here’s a marvelous PCGS graded pattern coin from my TrueView days. I’ve always had a fondness for these.

Post an amazing US coin in celebration!

    Phil,
Did you have to give up your Canadian citizenship? or can you be duel? Serious question from someone who has a granddaughter in Thailand.

No, I don't have to give up my Canadian citizenship. The US allows dual citizenship.

Thanks Phil. Glad you can keep your ties to your homeland.
