ANA 2025 WFoM

- I went. Tuesday->Friday!
- The drive up & back from the Metroplex was easy (but that Oklahoma Kia who was afraid of the jersey barriers that line both sides southbound from the TX border for the first 10 miles was a real buzzkill).
- I had a blast!!!!!!
- I got a little carried away!!
- We launched the book.
Attendance at the Sample Slab Collectors meeting wasn't as high as we had hoped (several key members of the community couldn't make the show), but the people who did make it were passionate about the subject. In the decade, it's grown from a small oddball niche to an actual niche.
Anyway, the haul
Some were gifts, some were feeding other oddball collections of mine. The only REAL purchase was the 1860 SL dime center right for my "Coins in Circulation as of 10am 11 February 1861" collection.
Thanks to CACG for the box to bring it home in; it holds everything except the Accugrade. For the curious, the photoslab is Florida (sub-basement) and the blue label is Iowa (sub-sub-sub basement).
More comments about my 50 Year Member flag (it's actually going to be 52 in November). But the best reaction was to the "IF YOU DON'T TALK TO YOUR CAT ABOUT CATNIP WHO WILL" shirt.

Anyone who wants to do an intervention with Buddy the cat is welcome to try. Bandaids are in the medicine chest in the upstairs bath, James
Also. Are there any subclubs to support a specific holder such as the SM. White ANAC holders? If not, perhaps there should be. James
Most of the effort around specific holders has been on these coin boards. For example the "Generations" posts.
Conder101 ( who is still active occasionally on some of the other boards ) started us off with his (out of print) book.
Tim ( @Lakesammman ) did a lot of the heavy lifting...

Then John D ( @86Saab ) added information and published PCGS, NGC, and ANACS in a nice visual form on his site, https://oldslabholders.com/
