Copper-Nickel Flying Eagle & Indian Cents Color Discussion

I have no examples currently to post. I’m hoping you guys can help with that…
In the past, I have owned several examples of nice uncirculated, flying eagle and Indian cents.
I know there is no color designation, they’re basically treated like gold or silver or even nickel in that regard, just the grade
But any specialist will know there are various colors that can be found on these and it’s basically toning…
The way I understand it, and please correct me if I’m wrong, but the most original surface on either would be very much a light cream soda, color, and then as they’re toned in certain environments, they can get kind of an almost bronze color…
Any discussions and examples that are posted would be greatly appreciated. I’ve been trying to find an example with this lighter cream soda color, which would be the equivalent of a white silver coin, does anyone have examples to show? And then of course, the toned ones that look more like bronze… I would love to see many examples.
Let’s see what you got! And any discussions, let’s have them!

Different dates can exhibit different “most original” color - not necessarily “a light cream soda color”.

I dunno, but here’s 2 of mine that have different color. I would enjoy hearing about them, their appearance and the different factors that may have contributed to their current appearance.

And here’s a google response to “light cream soda”

Thanks, and I see a couple of light cream sodas that match 😉

I can assure you this is the best one.
And here’s a few Indian’s with different colors too

Truly, one of my favorite series.
Awesome coins!

I sold my main FE/IHC years ago and most of them were toned. I might still have a few pics on an old computer, but this is the best I can do for CN coins. This 1856 is the S-3 variant and should not be considered a proof. Has some really nice light coloring on both sides.

That is spectacular!

This one seems to be a close match 🧐
Mr_Spud
how about some comparisons of just the copper-nickel fe/ihc?
The C/N Flying Eagles can come in a variety of colors too.

Plus, different lighting conditions can show A multitude of colors.
Here are my CN cents from my type set, for which I’ve been seeking toned pieces:
