Awesome chart. Kitco silver = $38.02 bid. The fundamentals are now in control.

Per the tutorial, this formation projects to about $95, but I think we're clearly headed for well into 3 digits.

I'm not holding my breath with these speculative forecasts. It's still about $13 per oz lower, than it was 15 years ago. Silver appears to be having a difficult time breaking $40. Only time will tell

The recent gold rush detracted buyers from silver. Once gold trades sideways for a while, silver will play catchup. The GSR tells us this.

It stands to reason that it would take a catastrophic market event to shake loose any price fixers and short sellers. I'm pretty confident we won't see moon money until that happens. My guess is they're gonna slow walk this up as long as they can.

In March of 2020 I saw some charts hit $67/oz and then they shut it down for like two days or whatever. So silver is worth at least that much in my eyes. Random glitches like that just don't happen for no reason.

When silver plays catch-up, it's the 8th inning of the move. Time to sell, if anything.

Silver Industrial Demand Reached a Record 680.5 Moz in 2024

Industrial silver buyers play a big part in the spot price. Do you think they have an interest in low spot prices?

For this reason demand is not what will drive silver higher, diminishing supply will.

And for those that still believe there is no manipulation in the futures markets, they fail to realize that stable (controlled) prices are why the future exhange was created. "Stabalizing" prices involves driving them up and driving them down by conducting trades to achieve a desired price.

Former CFTC head Rostin Behnam admitted in an interview they had to tamp the price of silver to prevent a catastrophic market event. He even mentioned it in another interview. Multiple people are now in federal prison for spoofing and market rigging.

I don't know how anyone could deny that this thing happens anymore. JPM paid piles of money in fines for doing it. I think anyone arguing against it being a real thing are bad faith actors.

6 of one, half dozen of the other. Divide numerator by 2 or multiply denominator by 2, effect is pretty much the same.

And for those that still believe there is no manipulation in the futures markets, they fail to realize that stable (controlled) prices are why the future exhange was created. "Stabalizing" prices involves driving them up and driving them down by conducting trades to achieve a desired price.

Maybe. The purpose is more for hedging. If I'm a coin dealer and I buy 1000oz of silver, if I go short a 1000oz contract I can hold that bar for weeks or months waiting for someone to come buy it from me and not worry one bit about price movement.

For the people with the manipulation mantra, there are limits to how much and how far manipulation can occur. At some point you have to deliver the goods or lose your ass. Exhibit A: Gamestop.

GME was a unique situation, the perfect storm. It's happens maybe once every decade. And not to that extent. Last time was probably Volkswagen-Porsche, 2008.

"Spoofing" and yanked bidding can be methods of price discovery. I'm not convinced they move the price in any material direction. Conspiracy nonsense blaming JPM is ridiculous -- I ask people to tell me where silver would be and they tell me $200/oz. which is nuts.

His last post about buying was that in July 2020 he was waiting for $10 silver. It hasn't been that low since. Hence my post about his post not aging well. Taht was accompanied by a statement that "My prediction is 5 years from now silver will be $10 and you will still be underwater talking about selling singles on eBay to supplement all your entitlements." And it's now 5 years later.

That is not a recommendation that the "peeps" should buy silver, or even platinum. It is simply a statement that he had bought a piece of platinum. It does not suggest that others should do the same.

The only "buy" recommendation to ever come from @blitzdude (that I know of) is for gold.
