Willie really "pops" out of that card. Looks 3D. Brilliant colors.

That was what the modern collectors refer to as a 'hot pack'!

What's the actual difference supposed to be between the Michigan and regular issue? I'm not sure I've ever opened any of these either.

It was the first attempt at a "Tamper Evident" wrapper.

Now that jogs the memory. I have seen those. Never opened one, but seen them before.

    Colecovision! Those were fun.

Looking forward to that 84 Donruss rip. I had a ton of fun opening those close to two decades ago. After all this time just submitting my Pat Tabler. Best of luck with Mattingly and Strawberry and the Diamond Kings as Steel or Steele or whatever they are supposed to be. Just dont ruin my Pat Tabler POP please. 😄 I'm assuming a 10. Do love that set for a lot of the cool non-HOF rookies. Love the Kevin McReynolds and Sid Fernandez and Tony Fernandez. Sold a bit off but those I plan to keep.

I still think with your luck, Chris…that you need to rip a ‘52 Topps wax pack…high series!

    Mantle, Jackie and Mathews RC…

I know!!! They suck compared to Vintage Eye Candy but they kinda grow on ya. I have opened modern Basketball but have yet to try modern Football.

Feel free to send the Kershaw, Merrill and Chourio my way!

NO WAIT!! They are "sucky" - Better you should keep'em...

    vintage > modern

While there was a monopoly for Topps for many years, that time has passed.

We should go back to the 1990s and open up the licenses to more companies to create competition / supply & demand.

    Enjoy your collection!
