I almost never buy SGC, but the centering on this extremely rare HOF first card (sticker) was too good to pass up. I've wanted one for years and finally pulled the trigger. For context, highest graded examples of this card are a pair of 3's and for total pops, PSA has 13, SGC is 5 and Beckett is none.

I wonder why minor league players were popular enough in Venezuela to warrant a set.

Great card, never heard of it. Love Jim, great hitter.

Work hard and you will succeed!!

Always wanted his RC - missed when affordable but got it at a really good price from Heritage.

Congrats on a great card. I hoarded this card and have 37 PSA 10s. I just wish I cashed out in 2020 when they got up over $5k.

Went down to the Washington PA show this morning near Pittsburgh. Came away with some cheap unopened packs and some additions to my 71 and 75 sets!

Love me a nice Al Bumbry card. The rest of it too. Nice adds.

Thank you. You are right Larry, there aren’t many out there at all. There aren’t any for sale on eBay now. His minor league cards are few and should command a bit more. I quickly snapped this BIN at a great price.

Been working on it slowly for a long time. Found a guy today that had a bunch of decent shape 71s for $1-2 each. Also found a stack of high numbers for $3 so snagged some that I needed.

Congrats, Brad on the impressive haul!
I remember last year at the National you were not able to negotiate a deal for an Aaron RC from BBCE….nice comeback. I really like the ‘52 Bowman Mantle, too. Then…that ‘53 Bowman Color Gil Hodges is a stunner! Diamonds are your friend… :)

That Niekro rookie looks like it just came out of the pack. That thing is as nice as anything I’ve ever seen.

  • Love that Aaron rookie!
