1868-S 50C NewP

The half is a recently CACed example. The P58CAC population had been two for a long time. This third example is quite comparable with one of the two existing P58CAC coins; the other being less toned. The look in hand is very nice with clean fields and devices – though the strike does not appear as strong as the others. Great to add it to the collection!

Nice!!
That's a tough date and could end up in an MS holder on the right day at the grading shop. It's also one of the rare occasions where I like the TV better than the GC photo (which looks like the white balance is off a bit).
Great pick up!

A lovely AU-58.
Very nice tougher date coin.
That's a fantastic looking example of a really tough issue! Congratulations!

I'd be way happy with that to
It makes me want to buy an AU of this type.
I don't collect this type but that's a nice coin.

Congrats on a beautiful coin. Which photo set does it resemble?
Closer to the Trueview. The rose tint is overemphasized in the GC photo.
