For symmetry...should have put the privy dead center on the sun...just my humble opinion!

But I'm' sure that would have violated some obscure federal statute!

Or should have moved it up slightly and to the right...so that it was better aligned vertically with the designer's initials and "In God"

    But what do I know?

Hey Raufus thanks for sharing the nice pictures !! Nice to see some 'in the wild' photos !

    Lucky no milk spots !

I agree that most ASE on average are MS 69/70 or pf69/70.

One company online that specializes in AGE has a policy of not grading them for this reason.

Unless you include this 25ap in a batch order with other grading requests, it probably is not worth the trouble and hoops.

My July 10th order is on 'backorder'. Maybe I will get by year's end. haha

Mine came in today. Keeping it unopened in the box for now.

Give it some time. The milk takes a while to curdle. :)

Luckily, proof coins seem a little less susceptible to milk spots.

Mines came in last week. It's on the way to NGC for grading. Hoping it's a PF70. I am now waiting on my Sacagwea coin which shipped today.

There is another laser engraved AE proof coin coming out 8/20 and then the next day the American Liberty High Relief Gold coin comes out. I plan on getting both as well as the navy and Marine AE when they come out. I'd like to flip the whole set.

looking forward to 2026 with the Mercury dime gold coin and the and the standing liberty gold coin.

    ngc? why not pcgs?

the sac in the ogp is going for 2700 on ebay. the army is 200

the most profit will be made on advanced releases and first day of issue then first strikes and early releases. for me it is better to flip raw and save the grading fess and potential decrease in ebay offers

i'd also flip each as they are released. you're not going to get more for the set, and ebay prices might come down while waiting for others

Honestly, I have coins graded with both NGC & PCGS. My coin holders are NGC and fit the graded coins fine. The PCGS coins don't.

Also, I have an account with NGC and find it efficient for me to go through their submission process. Definitely no knock on PCGS.

Based on Pinehurst ask? That data point is meaningless.

The price is holding. Check back next year.

My late-in-the-game order only went into "processing" early this morning or overnight. My guess is that they accepted an overage of backorders and will cancel as necessary to reach the 100,000 mintage.

Most likely. However, they did once manage to oversell the mintage when they accidentally put their overage for sale. If they shipped 105,000...
