Probably my favorite Indian as it was one of my first purchases years ago when I got back into coin collecting. Cracked out of an ANACS holder and upgraded to PF-64 and then got a CAC sticker. Completely dumb luck on my part, yet very fun.

Hi Zack - I posted this before; did you miss it? But it is my fave IHC for now anyway. From what I understand, it’s the only gold CAC IHC in 65RB in CAC’s entire pop! That’s all the years, not just 1877!

@Copperindian, hey Ken. No, I did see it the first time you posted that beautiful coin. That’s such a treasure, I’m just in awe! It leaves me speechless!
Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?
PCGS MS65RB EEPS
Coin is die 1 and completely proof like, with no clash above the O in ONE like every other one seen so far. Unique in that respect. Not a huge fan of the woodgrain but in hand looks red.
PCGS PR67RD CAC EEPS
Coin has eye-melting surfaces. Was held back by Brian Wagner for years until I pried it out of his hands.
