Bronx Knights
Brooklyn Panthers
Bronx Warriors
Brooklyn Skyhawks
Brooklyn Warriors
Greenpoint Spartans
Grind Academy
Kings Bay
LBX Empire
New York Giants
New York Jets

In all seriousness, it is pretty remarkable how those two franchises continue to effectively perpetuate a losing culture
I mean, really, if you have either 36-year-old, running-on-fumes Russell Wilson now on his 4th team or 26-year-old, quasi-bust Justin Fields now on his 3rd as one of your signal callers, how can anyone of sound mind be excited about this upcoming season?
If I'm a fan of either of those teams I'd go find a bottle of drain cleaner and chug it

Another problem these teams may have, NYC is likely going to have a new mayor in November, who is very keen on raising taxes to the rich. There is little doubt one of his first targets is going be those two NFL teams and the NFL players. That being said, with the Giants and Jets playing in New Jersey, I'm not sure how that affects their tax structure. If the Giants and Jets are headquartered in NYC, which I'd have to guess they are considering they've kept "New York" in their team names. I'd have to think if the mayor increased the city wage tax, it would apply to them.
What this simply means is that during free agency, the Giants and Jets are going to have a tougher time attracting top players because of a very high city wage tax.
Who knows, maybe it'll all will work out for the two teams. But it sure appears that their downward slide may get even worse.
Probably most here have seen the Tom Brady roast. I've watched many roasts on Youtube, and this one was the best ever. All the roasters did a great job, including Brady when he was up there at the end.
I liked the Brady line when he was roasting the comedians on the dais. He mentioned their names, then he said, "Who picked this chitty lineup, the Jets front office?" LOL
Some alternate entertainment options this fall for New York City area fans of the NFL:
Take long walks in Central Park. Just be on the lookout for muggers.
Fishing in the Hudson River. If you hook a dead body, just detach the hook, and release the body back into the water.
Shopping downtown. See the Central Park warning.
Take a ride on the subway. Be careful not to sit on any needles.
Visit the Bronx Zoo. New York City is so broke, they can’t afford animals. But they’ve placed life size cardboard pictures of the animals inside the cages, which almost look lifelike.
At least the Jets were competitive and almost won the game.
The Giants? Their top running back rushes for 24 yards. Good grief. Don't the Giants understand that "cold weather" teams better have a good running back later in the season during inclement and cold weather. That's NFL football 101 for crying out loud.
That being said, the Giants are suspiciously low in the odds at only +3.5 in their upcoming game at Dallas. Maybe they can sneak into Dallas and win one.

Wonder if the Giants will cut ties with Russell waste of money Wilson and play Dart?
I agree with ya. Just play the kid. See what he can do.
I never bought into the idea of not to play a kid too soon, because he could get beat-up, develop bad habits, and become a loser. That's nonsense. Most if not virtually all of the great quarterbacks struggled at least to a degree in their first season. But that's how they learned. They learn basically nothing sitting on the bench.
If the Giants had a shot at the playoffs, then okay go with the experienced QB. But they have no shot at this point, no matter who they play. Go with the kid so he can gain experience is the wiser move in my opinion.

I remember David Carr getting absolutely destroyed early on with the Texans, I think he suffered the most sacks ever or something at the time I can't remember but it was bad, I think that pretty much destroyed his career, tough situation for some of these rookies
I don’t know what happened to Wilson. He was pretty good and then fell off a cliff. But he seems like the right guy for the job in NY with that offensive line. They looked terrible. I dont think any qb is going to look good there and I’m not a proponent of dumping a rookie into the fire.

Nabers certainly wants the change
I'm sure Giants fans do as well
Agreed. I definitely would have lost that bet for who would be the starter lol
I think it would be good to let Dart hold a clipboard for a few weeks but Wilson just really sucks, Denver was as an utter disaster for him and it doesn't look like NY is going to be any better
There's only one way for new QB in the league to understand the speed of the game. That is to get out there and play.
Yes, they get a little taste of that in the pre-season games. However it's not on the same level as the regular season.
That's where the good coaching comes in. Of course drafting the right guy to begin with. Then it's long hours of preparation and study to be ready for that first regular season snap.
The old strategy in many cases was for a new QB to hold the clipboard for perhaps a year or two, before inserting him in the starting lineup. But a big reason for that was yes, to keep him from getting killed out there. However as we all know, the rules protecting the QB have changed, and in my view it's for the betterment of the game. The QB is too valuable and too vulnerable to be subjected to the same punishment as the other players.
I know almost nothing about this guy Dart, other than he was the Giants first round pick. He's of course been in camp, I'm guessing he played in all the pre-season games. As stated the Giants ain't going anywhere anyway this season. So Just put him in there. Sure he's gonna stink up the joint on some plays, perhaps a lot of plays. Let him get used to the boos and adversity, and if he's worth anything, he will shake it off, work harder in practice to get better, and then one day become a decent starter if he's got the ability and character to do it.
And if not, well then it's back to the drawing board for the Giants.

Id generally agree with that but it is Wilson lol. Theyre basically punting the season if they let him start too many games. At least with Dart you do have upside potential

The next drop in class for the Giants and Jets would be the NYC grannies football league.
I think they might have a chance there.

Could have been "hotter", but I didn't want to risk my avatar serving 30 days behind CU prison bars. 😂
With the upcoming NFL rule changes, the good news is the Giants and Jets may score on the average around 10 more points per game.
The bad news is the opponent may score 20. 😆
I just saw where the Giants and Jets are giving away free season tickets.
But hurry because it's only for the first 50,000 callers.
Starting a washed up Wilson over Dart was certainly a crazy decision lol
