4 more days until these GEMs start shipping. I can hardly stand it, perhaps the greatest coin of this century. RGDS!

Yes it is. 5213 remain. I suspect they will finally lift this unconstitutional HHL on shipment day. We can only hope. Thoughts?

Yes, the mint was created for the people by the people. It is the people's mint. Restricting product and making backdoor deals with petty coin dealers so they can corner the market IMO is unconstitutional. SMPR!

These are starting to hit the pop reports.
Based on the timing, I assume these are Advanced 'Delivery/Release' coins.

    Article?

Nowhere in the constitution does it promise collector coins. You could just as easily argue that making these coins is "unconstitutional".

Mine says backorder but my brother-in-laws says "processing".

  • If past examples play out,the mint may mark 3000 orders to process per day. If only 2000 are processed and sent to the shipping dept, then the 1000 get added to another 2000 for the next day etc. This equation from a 2021 (?) Mint FAQ

The Mint does not ship any coins. They have a distributor who does it. They process far more than 3000 coins per day.

Ugggh I am still showing backorder. The agony. For gods sakes just 1. Process my orders 2. List the HHL on the remaining GEMs already. THKS!

  • They can't hit the in processing button on the good orders come on. They have had a month to look at peoples cards.

If they are smart they will pack and ship orders in pallets to the same postal or ups centers. I assume this is how they do it. Doesn’t make sense or is cost effective to ship one by one to random post offices

    Backordered

Throw a coin enough times, and suppose one day it lands on its edge.

I'm not sure why that would be. They just print labels and the carrier picks them up and sorts them. Is presort a discounted service for anything but 4th class mall?

That works for 10 , 100 or 1,000 packages however when shipping tens of thousands the logistic arrangements with the carrier as well as the volume determine the rates the shipper gets. So easy to print batches of labels by zip codes and build pallets for the shipper . Will get a substantial discount on rate that way .💵💵💵💵 money talks !!

The way you do customer service is when the ship date hits you turn everything to processing. Does not mean all firms of payment are good, just means processing.

Leaving orders on backorder does not give great confidence to the buyer his long wait is nearing an end.

That does not matter if they are all ready to ship, the point being they are in process to be shipped out. So let the customer know that has ordered and is confirmed they have the order, they are getting ready to ship them out and are no longer backordered. Words matter, communication matters. It's called customer service.

Yeah. It's the federal government. The only place to buy these from the source at the original issue price.

The customer service sucks. What are you going to do about it? Cancel your order?

If not, nothing else matters, and they'll continue to do whatever they want.

They may NOT even exist. We don't know. The reason they weren't shipping until now is because they hadn't made them. If they are waiting on packaging or something, they may still be in backorder.
