Three Day GTG - Coin #4 Ends 8-1 - REVEALED MS67RD CAC.

Good luck, same rules as last time!
I thought it would be interesting to run a sort of experiment here with GTGs. Oftentimes posters will use GTGs to get an idea of if to resubmit a coin, or not to.
Here's my question - how accurate is the forum, grading from images alone? Over the years, I've built up a good chunk of coins with my own images that we can use for this purpose, given the consistent images and vast array of grades/services.
Here's how I plan to do it - one coin a week, after which the grades will be tallied and scored. Each correct answer will be 0 points, 1 point off is 1 point, 2 points off 2 points, etc. Missing designations counts as a point. Essentially, the fewer points at the end of the grade session the better. All coins for the moment will be CAC certified, so as to add another degree of accuracy in the actual grade. I will also choose coins I feel are properly graded.
I will upload the guesses into the below publicly accessible Google Sheet, so you all can view the data for yourselves.

I'll let each coin run for roughly three days.

I'm going to go with MS67RD
Has the slightest strike deficiency, my only hang up is how that mark on the E is viewed.

Welp, I guess I'll go first. Not sure it's a true RD, but guessing it got the designation

And unlike @pursuitofliberty, I’m not going to say “I guess I’ll go first” (and guess wrong). 😈

If we were all the same, the world would be an incredibly boring place.

I must ask, what is the effectiveness of this test when 3 out of 4 of these coins appear to be roughly the same grade?

I do see what I think is the slightest area of toning near the bottom of Mr. Lincoln’s coat. Maybe it’s the lighting, can’t say for sure. MS67+ RB.
The idea is to do 20-30 of these, so we'll have a good balance by the end. The next two or three will be circulated examples. I plan to have it at roughly 1/3 Proofs, 1/3 MS, and 1/3 circulated by the conclusion (so the first three are a good match for this).
Edit - I went ahead and started adding the next group of coins in the top section of the google sheet if you wanted to take a look at that. It should be fairly balanced IMO.

Dangitman, I posted and then I saw Chris beat me. No edits in GtG though, right?

I wouldn't be surprised if it got RD but unless it is shadows, there always to be some toning

What isn't stated is what standards we're guessing to. I assume PCGS. You also didn't state what generation of holder this is. If it's in an OGH for example, that precedes + grading so I would revise mine to not have a plus. My guess assumes that this is in a fairly recent holder.
My guess is PCGS MS66+RD. A sharp or full strike is required for MS67 and it doesn't appear to be quite there on the obv.

TTT, only a couple more hours to get guesses in!
Getting my guess in right under the gun here... it's right there on the border of 66+RD and 67RD in my opinion. Knowing it's CAC approved, going to guess this one made it in as a MS66+RD, as I don't believe it would have earned the green bean at 67RD.
I guess I read that differently. OP says that the coin "will be" CAC certified which to me indicates it has not been sent to CAC yet.

" All coins for the moment will be CAC certified, so as to add another degree of accuracy in the actual grade."
My take away with that sentence is that all of the coins will have a CAC sticker attached to the slab.
Yes, future tense.

Future tense, as in the coins that get posted will be “CAC certified” as in CAC stickered, as in they must have already been submitted to CAC.

What Mark said.
Correct grade is:

The forum average grade was MS66+, with a variation of a little more than half a point (0.7 points). Overall, we've been doing very well.
This coin has the lowest average deviation from the correct grade, just beating out the Morgan that was coin #1. We also have been getting slightly less guesses per coin, which may be affecting our data as we now only have committed members guessing.
OK that's valid but my interpretation is not invalid either. It would have been clearer to say that they are CAC approved.

While that would have been clearer, your interpretation (copied below) would have required that @FlyingAI could foresee the future. Otherwise, how else could he know that the coins would end up “CAC certified” with stickers?

Alex, I’d considered ending my previous post with “@FlyingAI is good, but he’s not that good.😉”
