    Yeah I’d be Really scrutinizing Nickels. Hennings are overweight and most likely would reject.

    I did check - no luck - all are in the range of 4.85 - 4.95 gm
    based on wear.

    I like finding mint state coins and here are a couple.
    The 1965 cent looks suspiciously like an SMS issue.
    The dime is very clean and fresh - golden Cu edges,
    and maybe from an uncirculated set. Both are great
    little coins.

    I was the first person on Monday to use the counting machine at our credit union, so this was presumably sitting in the "Don't Forget to Check Your Tray" since Saturday.

    I was doing self checkout at Walmart, as I was putting my CC in thinking about some cash over I looked at where the money would come out and there was a crumpled $10 bill. :o
    After the machine printed out the receipt I reached down and grabbed my NewFound Score.

    DC the 1964 is a great find !

    Here are some coins from machine change -
    The 5 cent (Ireland) came out instead of a 1 cent
    1940 Nickel
    1944 Cent
    2x 1951-S cents
    Bottom Line - Several mint state coins - the 2016-S Harpers Ferry was a surprise !

    I had over a month with nothing, then finds three times in a row yielded 14 cents, a washer, a Caiman Islands ten cent coin, and a 1977 Canadian quarter. I also got a 1943-P nickel and a 1917 wheatie in my till at work.

    I was Walleye fishing in Pierre South Dakota early this week. A Walmart CoinStar gave me 3 clad quarters and 3 memorial pennies. My first find of anything in a while. Yes, the Walleye bite was on. But it was cold and rainy!

    Just a post to make an observation(question).
    Does anyone else notice that the pickings are better around, say, 1:00 p.m.?
    All my silver finds have been close to that time at one grocery or another.

    Slim pickings this week.
