All: regarding the 1853 NA H10C PCGS 66 CAC. I was surprised at the guesses as the pics were good (highest @ 63+). The coin doesn’t show much at all in the way of marks. I will say luster didn’t show as it does in “real life”, but it’s muted anyway. Tough coin.

I don't want to call your baby ugly, so let me just say it's nicer than Winston Churchill and Steve Buscemi. That coin has a look only an owner could love. : )
If we were all the same, the world would be an incredibly boring place.

A critique fitting from someone that made a terrible guess

hey hey hey, 61 is not a bad guess, I was at 58+ , in all honesty I saw 58-61 from OP scan, these little boogers are hard to grade often, so wash that grin off your face

You’re right, 61 wasn’t a bad guess, it was a terrible guess. Where are the marks? This wasn’t a scan, it was a photo that accurately depicted the coin. Consider my “grin” washed

I didn't want to ignore you, seriously now, when I first saw this one, I'm thinking, nice, I like it it, but oh so subtle wear, knees, arms, breasts, face etc.
It could be the scuffed holder or my laptop (maybe cell, I forgot) , but the point is, its a GTG, it's what I saw or perceived at first glance, so I went with a guess of, ok this one is 58+, knowing it can go either way.
I hope you did not take my comment as offensive.
@marcmoish: absolutely did not! I saw some humor in all the later posts. But, to me, 58 grades are more accurate than 61’s any day. At least, I personally prefer them!
I think Jefferson frog was attempting humor; that’s the way I took it. A little sloppy but humor just the same. My reply to him was probably just as sloppy (& I did wash my face)!

Nice @oldabeintx , you got it, I thought this one would drag longer.
Can someone volunteer to do the next post? Indisposed suddenly. Sorry.
OK, I’ll pinch hit:

Not much of a hint, but previous guesses (except one) have “No Arrows” as part of the grade. That is correct & what I was looking for.

And I was second closest at 63! Besides, you didnt designate no arrows. Ha!
.
Should we add variety guessing to the contest ?
Maybe guess the date and mint-mark as well ?
That could be easier than guessing the grade
.
Only mentioned this, because it was requested by posting op. Go back and take a look @dcarr.
Don’t feel bad my next guess was 45.
I did get the no arrows part but that was easy.
Anyway? Back to the Jefferson. No clue, but I’d say MS65+.

I meant that jokingly. The lack of arrows was the easy part to guess.
