Bought it raw, 30 years ago and had it graded. My thinking at the time was a 65, possible 66. What was I thinking?

Gold is different to learn and the standards are different. Your coin is better than a 64 all day long. That is why we have CAC, so you can keep that old holder. I have a ton of coins in old holders I would love imaged and thus regraded but I like the old holder and the bean.

Yes, I know. Much of my early days of slab collecting consists of coins in OGH that I purchased and ones I submitted for grading. I love the old holders and would never crack them out to upgrade. I’m pretty sure a lot of them would CAC green and gold. Never got around to doing that.
