1990 Hoops Michael Jordan #65 error

My husband has always collected cards, but we recently began going through them, when we came upon the 90' Michael Jordan error card.
He remembers pulling it from the sealed package as is...which is cut short with some sort of manufacturing defect that caused a waffle like pattern on the bottom front/back of the card.
We cannot find another error like this one, anyone heard of one before?
