Absolutely incredible set you're building there. How many more do you have to find?
Thank you. I have just over 50 percent of the set completed. It is a fun project. When I first created the registry set it was just me but now there are 2 other collectors creating sets as well.
What a cool project! Do you keep tabs on what players are still alive, and thus available to fill holes for you, vs ones that are gone and will be tougher? Also, do you have any idea if there are any "impossible" cards to obtain? Say, where a player had a card and then died shortly after it was printed?
Enjoying watching your progress.

Thanks Kevin. I don't keep tabs on who is still alive. I only keep a list of the cards I need. This set will be impossible to finish because there are a couple of cards that were never signed, for example - Babe ruth thrills card #401. I'm sure there are several others but I'm OK with that because I am enjoying this project and I love the readable cursive signatures.

I picked up this 1957 Topps Hank Aaron. I think it's a very strong 6.
Awesome looking 6. If the back is solid you might consider sending it back to PSA for a bump.
Beautiful card and one of my favorites of Hank. I'd just keep it as a six. I just read in another thread that someone sent in like 25 cards for a review and got a bump on one of them.

Anyone know the cost of sending this card to PSA in the hope of a bump?

That's amazing. I've enjoyed watching your progress on it. Over 50 percent is amazing on a vintage set like that.

Just picked up the Gronk mini anniversary refractor to go with my Brady. I really like the retro style inserts from 2015 Topps Chrome, especially since the base 2015 design is quite unattractive.

Mini Christmas in July Buying Spree since I'm not able to attend the National....
My First PC Koufax other than the 64SU I held for years until I sold it this Spring; another one is in the mail and should be here soon....
Another 70 Kellogg's Hall Of Famer... This one is tough
Not sure why I started this subset - but in for a dime, in for a dollar. Down to two or three current HOF'ers.
There may be more coming
And as part of my PC improvement Project - My "8" has a chipped case so I never show it. This one I'm proud to show!

Even though that Koufax photo is so close it feels like he's staring through your soul it's always been one of my all-time favorite Koufax cards. Always loved that one.

Added this to my HOF RC Collection.
How much did it sale for is one of the funniest and most ignorant things I've ever heard.
Picked up a Johnny Schmitz to finish my 1949 Bowman Cubs set.

Agree redlegs…an exceptional 6.
FWIW, The Babe stole 123 bases in his career. (He was also caught stealing 116 times!)
Late 60's and early to mid 70's non-sports
Picked up these 1959 and 1960 stars and notable players for $1.50 a piece today at a thrift store.

I picked this up to crack and put in my Murray binder but it looks so nice in the holder I might just hang onto it.
