In a 30 year OGH when grading standards were a wee bit tighter?
Bought it raw, 30 years ago and had it graded. My thinking at the time was a 65, possible 66. What was I thinking?
Gold is different to learn and the standards are different. Your coin is better than a 64 all day long. That is why we have CAC, so you can keep that old holder. I have a ton of coins in old holders I would love imaged and thus regraded but I like the old holder and the bean.

Yes, I know. Much of my early days of slab collecting consists of coins in OGH that I purchased and ones I submitted for grading. I love the old holders and would never crack them out to upgrade. I’m pretty sure a lot of them would CAC green and gold. Never got around to doing that.

58 (loss of luster rub on the bands). If I'm correct I'll pass for someone else to post a coin.
Agreed. But I'll say 63

A gold bean would double the value. But it’s only money right.
A beautiful coin. A good shot at 66.
AU 58 with Chop marks
@jfriedm56: Zack, that St is a bean for sure! Nice one!

Seems incongruous that a chopmarked coin could qualify as unc. Although I know that “unc” can’t be taken literally, still doesn’t seem right.
The lighting makes it really difficult to tell.
I will guess MS60 Chop-Marked.
Looks like @dcarr got it!
Woo Hoo !. At this rate, I'll have my entire collection posted here in no time.

But if you agree there is rub than 62 is the better guess, yes?
But if there’s a rub, that would indicate wear, in which case the highest obtainable grade would be AU58, not unc. 62.
Fine, I'll go with 62

62 it is; I'll post the slab pic in a bit. @marcmoish you are up.
