Crack out question - CAC holder

PCGS and ANACS holders are easy to crack out, NGC is a pain but can be done, but I have never tried a CAC holder. Any suggestions on how to crack a CAC holder?

I haven't tried that yet. I might try and find a cheap CACG slab and try.
It just takes a new razor blade and less than 5 minutes.

Strange, I think NGC is the easiest to crack by far.
I'll bet you $22 this tool will change your mind with pcgs slabs lol.
One perimeter cut, center of the gasket and the slab opens up like a clamshell. I use the same tool to whack the tabs on the edge of the NGC holders, but CACG holders are another animal.
They're too malleable, I use my Milwaukee battery jigsaw. I've never seen a "cracked" CACG holder, but we see PCGS holders routinely get chips and spiderweb cracks all the time. I haven't yet tried to resurface a CACG slab yet though, NGC is quite difficult and PCGS slabs are a breeze.

I’ve done it once, used cutting pliers like you would for PCGS slab. Nothing quick or elegant about it, but with some patience and care, I was eventually able to disassemble the darn thing.
