    I like the idea of this thread reaching 5000 posts without the OP chiming in again.

    But I'd also welcome OP insights shared and connections made even if the OP is ChatGPT.

    I fed the OP to ChatGPT and this is what the final part of the "take" was:

    Skeptical Take:

    This intro post doesn't pass the sniff test for an old-school collector. A real hobby veteran would probably drop a reference to collecting during the junk wax era, pre-war cards, 1950s Topps, grading submission stories, or war stories about USPS destroying a vintage Mantle.

    Instead, we get a very polished but hollow message — no color, no history, no scars from the hobby.

    If this is wrong and disparaging to the OP? Come on board and elucidate and I'll apologize.

    The only way to ensure safety in today's times is to assume a scam.

    A sad commentary for sure but does not change the fact.

    Those who takes postings as gospel especially first time posts are potential ripe targets for picking.
