I think they probably got the mintage right this year. People are climbing over each other to buy 100K proof ASEs with a privy at $105, and there is a $200 dealer bid for them in the secondary market.

Why wouldn't 150K Morgan and Peace Dollars sell at $91 each, with a HHL of 10? I wonder how many were presold by subscription and to dealers, and how many will actually be offered tomorrow?

Not just bigs. Most likely went to subscribers. In the past, when these were actually hot, a far higher percentage were presold via subscription.

I really like the look of the uncirculated Peace Dollar.

I bought one of each for the design, but that’s it. Continuing a date set makes no sense to me.

The mint will be selling them at Summer FUN today. It will be interesting to see how long the line is.

When I say Bigs, what I'm saying is it's the ABPP's who most certainly ordered many thousands of the coins two weeks ago.
They bought individual OGP coins via the (AB) Suffix, and OGP 40 coin trays via the (040) Suffix Bulk channels.

Edit: The 040 40 bulk trays(for the Bigs) went live along with the public offerings at 12:00 ET today.

I launched two additional subscriptions to my account just before 1146AM Eastern Time for 3 each. I liked the 150,000 max each which was pointed out in this thread, so it was an impulse buy for me. No clue if it will get filled as they state 24 hours to process and show up on my subscriptions account. With silver up price should have been higher than $91 a pop. Free ship & no credit card charge until filled.

I see it seems I completed the additional subscriptions as changes are live at 1226 PM Eastern. Will they fill for 2025 or 2026 ? I signed up with 2025 coins imaged and they tried to sell me old 2024 Morgan & Peace issues on my completion page

You really think they sold 80,000 coins to bigs? Absolutely didn't happen. They are limited in the number that they can buy. That posted sales number includes a limited number of coins to bigs and the vast majority are subscriptions, as I said.

And if you look at the product limit on the 40 coin trays, it is 344 or a total of 13,760 of which 325 ARE STILL AVAILABLE! Those sales are recorded under the other part number. The sales you are seeing for 25XE and 25XH would include a MAXIMUM of 10% (15,000 coins) sold to ABPP buyers if they were allowed to buy them under this part number and not required to use the 40 coin trays and the rest are subscriptions. They 100% did NOT sell 80,000+ coins to "bigs".

Well, I 100% did say that "many thousands" were ordered by the Bigs two weeks ago, not "80,000+", and I'll stand by the statement.
There are two Bigs that are in on these programs. Both the entry level NBPP's, and the senior ABPP,s, so I believe that more than 10% was ordered from the Bigs in total?
Agree, many, many are going to individual Subscribers.

I love both the Morgan & Peace series but wont get in on these. They should have made a bigger (but still lowish) mintage and sold at a reasonable price.

The 150k max on 2025 Uncs are below 2024 Uncs that were delivered and kept by buyers. Theres still alot of returns from 2024 in all finishes in Mint inventory

I had subscriptions for five of each. When I canceled all of my silver eagle subscriptions, I accidentally canceled the Morgan one. So I had to buy them separately. Oddly, they charged for shipping on the Morgans. I thought if the account qualified for free shipping that it was for all orders, but I guess it is only for subscriptions. I realize they are overpriced. That's why I completely got out of the silver eagles. I put a couple back for my daughters in 70. Never know how many will go 70, so I order 5 and lose money selling the other 3. No more first strike labeling though. That is just salt in the wound.

Out of curiosity I looked around at the 2023 Peace Dollar uncirculated in OGP for sale and many were to be had for plus or minus $70 a piece. Wait a couple of years and buy them for less. A mintage of 150,000 will never be rare or scarce to be sure.

Was at the FUN show in Orlando today. The mint officials said there were several buyers waiting for the HHL to be dropped and were going to buy them all. Do they know something we don’t?

my prediction is the correct answer is the mint staff knew what we knew: we don't know when the hhl will be lifted

honestly, they will know once the decision is made then they get called or they check the website. anyone goes up to them in the early am, they will tell the eager shoppers "1. hhl is still one, 2. i don't know when they will change it, 3. you can wait here and see if they change it"

one thing they seem to know is whether they have them in-hand or not. if the mint ppl said to wait and they did, then it would look like the mint has them at the show

The US Mint rep said they will always have coins that have been just released at shows….until they sell out. The good thing is there’s no shipping and you can inspect the coins before you leave.
