Last ditch effort for those who didn’t get 1.
After this—the USM will probably not screw around any longer and clear the shelves before ship date arrives.
So far prices have gone up, not down. And the same thing happened with the flowing hair medals. They understruck the mintage limits, and everyone still wanted them.
Most collectors want low mintage, not high mintage. Low mintage usually brings a premium to what they pay, and so they would be happy to receive this coin with a 75k mintage as opposed to a 100k mintage.
Agree, and I have no idea as to why this is a problem for some people. The over analyzing & overthinking of Mintage Limits has become an annoyance now. You would think that one would learn from their past poor record on the subject, maybe not.
75k would be a good thing for everyone, including the Mint if this number holds up. We'll see.
That’s fortuitous because on Monday the Mint canceled my paid for order placed on the first day of sale !? Paid by PayPal and valid checking acct so no idea why they canceled. Bizarre.
Just reordered and paid by credit card - not holding my breath to actually get one.
Steve,
One or more items in your order have been cancelled. If you did not request a cancellation, it was cancelled because the item(s) are no longer in our inventory or available for backorder.
We apologize for the inconvenience. If you paid by credit card, gift card, or PayPal you won’t be charged.

100 pence.....huh?
Means 100 percent
Gotcha, trying to be funny again- did not work again.
I was able to get one. Glad I signed up for text notifications or I'd have missed it.

I just got one sucked in by the hype, this is almost 5 hours after they sent me a forgotten reminder text. They should have sold out by now...no?

No since the limit is just one coin.....
I was planning to order 5 coins if I had the chance, and then it would have sold out quicker.
I’m interested, tell me more. Are you saying the secondary market on these is driven by the Big Boys looking to slab? Because I would think everyone who wanted one personally has had ample opportunity to do so. It’s a genuine question, just trying to understand your thoughts.

Everyone expected 100k from the beginning. There are still only 100k of them. Nothing has changed. The original $200 bid was posted BEFORE the first release

This is just not that hot an issue
Hard to say when there are 100K and you can only buy 1. Let them sit unsold if/when the HLL is lifted, and then pronounce it "just not that hot an issue."
Half the world is focused on the fate of the ticktocks. Many don't even know this coin is available and/or even existing. It will end up a decent flip for those choosing to do so. RGDS!

I agree, however when the prospect of 75k mintage came up - it was temporarily hot (to me) due to the lower number.
It'll still end up in the top 10 lowest ASE's list (not a bad thing), and that list ⇊ will soon be expanding...

Not at all hard to tell. Issues of 100k or even more used to sell out instantly even with HHL of 1. This puppy has taken days to sell out.

It will be a decent flip because there is a $200 bid out there. It will be under the issue price in 2 years or less even if silver hits $50 per ounce.

SUCCESS!!!
Used the Old Lady's account!
Sounds VERY high, based on the last sales report.
Cannot see this in the source page! where are you getting this number from?
I got one no problem just now at 2 p.m. EDT
Got an order in #17192XXX. Fingers crossed they come through.

Scroll down, and look for "ats" on the left.
Thank you very much! So now the inventory is just: 17,439 coins left.
There will ultimately be a day where HHL is lifted. I expect it will be soon.
Last ditch effort for those who didn’t get 1.

I do not think so! There are only "14693" coins left as of this post. I expect it to be sold out in the next few hours.
Kudos to the Mint today...everyone who wanted one and might have initially missed out...had a decent second chance today.
And I never asked for a "reminder"...but I got an email just the same.
Ebay listings have doubled, prices dropping......sold in the last hour.

8,000 left and counting down middlin to fast.

Surely this disrupts the secondary market tremendously, no? At least in the short-term.
No
I got a mess of text on my phone. I did find the "ats."
5400 remaining as of 525pm
Throw a coin enough times, and suppose one day it lands on its edge.
