Since I didn't see a thread for the IMEX 2025 show - who here is attending or thinking about it?

I'm in the "thinking about it" stage. Looks like a nice location for a show too,

Also thinking about it
Just two weeks after flying to the ANA in Oklahoma City - I'll pass.
Member ANA, SPMC, SCNA, FUN, CONECA
I’ll be there.
BHNC #248 … 130 and counting.
My wife and I are incorporating it with a Nashville vacation
Is there a confirmed dealer list? I can’t imagine many of the dealers who attended the first IMEX will return, given how abysmal attendance was.
Nothing is as expensive as free money.

This looks like about 40 dealers, I thought there was going to be about 400?
Correction NGC is not appearing yet ?
Interesting. I do see PCGS and Heritage and Stacks among the attendees. But it sure looks like it's a short list of dealers. Maybe not up to date? Either way, in this age of social media there isn't much leeway for an excuse of why the list seems inadequate.
Time will tell.

Lot of time to sign up, two and a half months. Check the
dealer list after the ANA show.
Can't wait that long, wanted to make a vacation out of this show. I can't see 360 dealers signing up at the last moment.
They'll sign up over the course of time. They have to plan as well
I'm planning on going.
But the big question is if you'll see 40 dealers or 400
The answer, based on past performance, is almost certainly something in the middle. In fact, you could probably get active betting action if you set the over/under at 220.
Waiting for MR PR take on why tables are not selling out?
@ScarsdaleCoin
Thanks for asking — and full disclosure here: I was brought on last year by Col. Steven Ellsworth (Ret.) and Gary Adkins as a consultant to help improve the IMEX show. My official role is Director of Marketing and Convention.
It’s no secret that the first IMEX in 2023 hit some snags — mainly the decorator dropping the ball on setup, which understandably frustrated a lot of dealers. That issue has been addressed, and with a new team in place, we’re doing everything possible to make sure history doesn’t repeat itself.
As for turnout and dealer tables — we’re going all in on promotion: social media campaigns, digital and print advertising, even traveling to international shows in Berlin and Singapore to bring in overseas dealers.
Here’s my honest take: shows like IMEX only succeed if dealers and collectors get behind them. These events take a full year to plan and require major investment. This really is a labor of love — don’t forget, it was Col. Ellsworth who fought to eliminate the sales tax on coins in Tennessee, making IMEX even more attractive.
So here’s my ask — please support this show however you can: encourage dealers to set up, plan to attend, and help spread the word by sharing the IMEX website and Facebook posts. Nashville is a great city, the venue is top-tier, and hotel rates are reasonable. With your help, IMEX has the potential to become something truly special.
I'm booked for the show! It's going to be a solo mini 2 night vacation: along with the show I plan to explore a bit around downtown and enjoy my rooftop pool.

There’s a ton to do! I enjoy seeing coin people say they’re coming to visit even if the show is lackluster.
We need the hobby to take root in middle Tennessee!

Please help me understand why pcgs will not have on site show grading this time, and NGC & cac aren’t even attending? Things like this frustrate me as a collector, which is why I’m currently not planning to attend.
They are advertising 400 tables and the dealer list is still below 50, if this turns into a small show, would they still charge $10 admission?
?
I believe all services will be available at the event.
As for on-site grading, that decision is entirely up to each individual company. It will depend on how many collectors request the service, as it's ultimately a business decision for them.
There were over 2,000 folks at first show and we expect even more at this one
Not sure you understand my question . . . to collectors attending the show, even if there are a million folks and 50 dealers, it's a SMALL show. Maybe I missed an updated dealer list?
Keep following the updates on Facebook. More dealers added every day. It’s not a small show
You need to update the document posted on the page. It still shows very few dealers and that’s what everyone is going to look at.
BHNC #248 … 130 and counting.
can you provide the correct link here?
Well now when I look at it, it says updated in 2023. It’s not even the one for this year. I guess we’ll wait to see if they put a 2025 document up.
BHNC #248 … 130 and counting.
Will do, we usually update every 2 weeks
However Facebook is every other day

Not sure where you saw 2023 doc. We have 2025 up. Let me know in a pm where you found that one so we can update it. Thanks
Nothing on this Facebook page about a IMEX dealer list
We have posted dealers as added Scroll through if you are interested
I've looked and cannot find a dealer list. Can you please post a link here?
I got here eventually from clicking links on the Facebook page.

Thank you. Looks like currently 42 dealers. John, How up to date is this list?
Says on the page updated June 2025.

Getting mixed messages here. Looks like the confirmed dealer list is still fairly small, the Facebook link took me to a bunch of unrelated videos and the main IMEX site is a bit confusing as well.
Hoping this all becomes clearer before September.

This should not be so hard. Starting to rethink our Nashville trip.
Go because it's Nashville, with plenty of cool things to see and do. If you are going primarily for the show, and it is anything like last time, you are bound to be disappointed.
As I said a few times now, we all only get one chance to make a first impression. First impression of IMEX was one of over promising and under delivering.
They are making a valiant attempt at a cleanup on aisle 9 by engaging a Director of Marketing and Convention. @ScarsdaleCoin is a good guy and a very reputable dealer. If anyone can do it, he can.
But it's an open question whether there is an actual need for another national show, let alone one in TN. And now they have to overcome the disappointment many felt at what they produced in 2023. Once burned, twice shy, first impressions, yada yada yada.
If you want to go to Nashville anyway, there is no reason to rethink anything. If you are going because they are billing it as:
