The CU 2025 June Pickups Thread

Starting this month off with a…alright, I’ll be honest. It’s another one of my weird ones and I don’t exactly know if it has a name already. So offer me a little leeway. It’s sort of a postcard. It’s sort of a booklet. And it’s sort of an envelope. But PSA has a similar item it graded so I’ll borrow from that:

c1960’s SW Historical Wax Museum Foldout Postcard w/Mickey Mantle

So, let’s see your pickups, both mainstream and odd, strange, unique and fun.

I've been wanting a 93 Finest Refractor for the better part of 30 years, and finally pulled the trigger. Not as big a name as I would have preferred, but a HOFer none the less.

edgar martinez is awesome..... Big name yes he is

@BaltimoreYankee That's a great 1979 OPC set you acquired. The centering on your Smith is one of the best that I have seen. That card is notoriously off-centered. Also the rough cuts on the Ryan, Bench, and Jackson are awesome. Great pickup.

Thanks Adam. The Ozzie smith card definitely motivated me to put a good bid on the set.

Yeah, those 79 OPCs are crazy on the centering. Hard to get any that are anywhere close to centered. Those are really great

    From REA's Marketplace:

Nice pickups! Love the Yogi...finding a hand cut card in a PSA 9 is quite the find.

Picked up this sweet rack on eBay
Of the 6 cards showing 4 hall of famers and one star qb top center
    Go hawks !!!

Absolutely beautiful pack! My favorite set, Campbell packs aren't easy to find. Just an FYI, Marshall is not in the hall of fame, so it's 3 hall of famers which is still incredible.
