Featured new seller of coins on eBay:

“I became interested in coins when a friend told me that I could learn about coins and sell them on eBay. I got me an account right away and listed my change. Two days later I found a EPLUIBUSUNUM dollar and sock of walking liberty half dollars in grandma’s top drawer and I knew that I had a career path. I hope that one day my offers appear in burfle’s thread.”

A miissed opportunity to correct the error—

Another missed opportunity to correct the error—

“eBay’s AI help gives my product cred.”

    Seller’s other change—

    Seller’s sold items—

I had someone buy a Morgan dollar from me who has a habit of buying counterfeits, I looked up some of the sellers he was dealing with and saw this one, largely counterfeits: https://www.ebay.com/str/yalu95

the full types of items for sale and the feedback are like i've seen from several sellers. even the feedback responses are exactly the same with the same mistakes. you'll read they start with a 30% partial refund and even that is the same among them. if you read the descriptions of the counterfeit items you'll see they are boilerplate. the boilerplate concept is further reinforced by the [___] framed place holders for specifics being left in

reporting them as "same seller multiple accounts" had ebay's response to take over an hour and they found no violation

I'd think there would be legal remedies with all the China made fakes.

This coin exhibits a struck-through or capped die appearance with dramatic weakening in Jefferson’s profile, legends, and Monticello. These are classic signs of a mint error, and this is the only one certified in this grade and style — a true Pop 1

Not only is it 1 million bucks, you have to pay a $5 shipping charge on top of that. I wonder if it really is in 5 carts right now.
