did you get a weight?
Certainly not my series, but it appears to have a lot of meat on the bone for a G06.

lot of wear in 5 years time
On a GTG I'd have gone VG08.
Neat coin!
Are you happy CAC did not gold sticker it?
Very nice, Bob!
Double eagles rarely circulated as pocket change so this was probably someone's pocket piece and was carried around for several decades.

Here is the trueview image of your coin. Congratulations, nice coin!
I'd have said it was VG 10. Nice coin!

Love the look of your coin.
I also have one low ball pocket piece saint.
This is the lowest PCGS coin and lowest CAC coin
Thats a rare date!

Not mine but this coin is in AG 3. GC description: This coin is an exceptionally rare date - and out of all of the late date rarities, 1931, 1931-D, 1932 - the 1930-S is by far the rarest. Over the past few years, we have seen the 1930-S break away from the other rarities, as it is now being appreciated more.
During the great depression, it is amazing someone kept this coin as a pocket piece. There is not a single 1930-S graded below AU-58 by PCGS or NGC, except this coin.

Probably somebody's pocketpiece, but it's still under graded IMO.
I bid on that one last year on GC. Probably my only chance to own the date but if I remember it went for over $60,000.
Awesome coin Bob! Congratulations!
That 30-S is a great piece and it’s over graded. Love the reverse

Spine is missing the skull at the bottom.
Very hard to find any Saint below AU-58.
I manage to find 7 bullion priced 1907 Liberties grading AU-50 to AU-58 that JA reviewed with me and agrees PCGS or CACG will straight grade. These circulated final year $20 Liberties appear to be scarcer in circulated grades than high mint state. LOL.
Looks more like a VF 20.

Picked up this slick on GC in 2017 for under $1400. Had to have her!

That was a good deal.

Better than Good. Almost certainly a pocket piece. Don't you wonder who carried it for many years?
I love that coin.
My gosh it’s worn would guess pocket piece.
That 30-S is so cool.....I don't believe I've ever really seen "1930" on a Saint. Just weird looking....I'm so used to seeing 1928 all of the time...
jom
Now THIS is a nice coin!
Could have been a former PGA pro who sold it!
I bought this in a SB auction back in 2020, haven't found a downgrade since! I've handled many thousands of $20's and have NEVER seen anything even below a Good come across my counter. They are extremely scarce this worn.
Thanks for posting. Beautiful coin. Great wear. It seems like the more they wear the more Orange shows up!!
