Note: I later submitted the coin to PCGS; grade given there was VG10. @jfriedm56 was also correct, just not for this post. Good guess Zack!
Please educate me! VG-10? Is this a case of value grading versus technical grading?
Think about this. The coin was probably struck by criminals at the Mint. It is an extremely strong clash. The strike is very weak possibly due to adjusting the press. There is a trace of reflectivity from what appears to be remaining luster. I think the ANA grade of F-12 was even low but IMO they were at least at the front gate of the ballpark rather than the parking lot. LOL.

For those that don’t collect coppers, remember, the copper and bronze coins from 1793 to the present will have a color designation. @pcgsregistrycollector.

Btw, it’s the S-1 variety that has a 3* rating. So, a tough one there. Kudos to @Coinscratch - his DDO add to his guess is right. So, for extra credit, he gets a virtual backpat!

Didn't notice the DDO. Cool variety Ken!

65rb I love the strike on that coin.
Here are a few new photos of the coin in question. Perhaps these would have helped.

Boy thats a sweet penny.
Lets move more modern.

MS Details - AT
MS 65 considering the hit in his hairline. Just wanted to remind players that the rules state no details grade AT entries.
