    1951 Wheaties..

Are those photographs on cardboard or paper? If paper…that’s even more impressive to remain in mint condition. Beautiful pickup…and POP 1s

I was out of collecting by the time inserts became a big deal (I was in high school and cards were not a priority, as was the case for most of us), but I've been a big fan of this set since I learned about it. I actually prefer the Frank Thomas, but Griffey inserts are becoming more and more expensive, and the Seattle skyline is pretty great. I'd been saving up eBay sales and had money socked away, so I decided to pull the trigger. My buddy told me now that I have the big one out of the way, I should build the entire set. Ha. We'll see.

Thanks for sharing. I was not familiar with these but now I want Cal and my old school Baltimore Harbor.

I think his 1980 is my favorite of his. Loved that photo.

For someone as iconic as he was the card companies really struggled to get him an iconic card photo.

82 topps and 88 topps are really great photos of ryan for 80's cards.

I like the 80 also but 74 is my favorite

those corners on the ryan are terrible. i would not have opened that pack with those bad corners.

That is so cool. It’s an iconic jersey from such an odd time. Plus, he was a cool player.

Awesome White Sox jersey! I can't believe MLB ever let that happen.

Not the biggest card in the world, but getting harder & harder to get centered/high grade

Best Notre Dame hoops player ever. His team beat UCLA when UCLA would rarely lose a game in the entire season plus he has the highest point total in a NCAA tournament game ever. You can watch that game vs Ohio U on YOUTUBE.

Very nice!! I have a raw one I back in the late 90’s. Certainly appreciated quite a bit!

Words are cool. No need to apologize. Excellent add with the Yaz. Appreciate Yaz as well and that is a beauty.

Trying the shrink the collection and improving the quality of each card approach as well. Its fun.

    Steve…

The best compliment is emulating a person. Thank you for the nice words. I agree with your strategy….quality over quantity. I wish you well on your pursuit.

Good move on the ‘65 Yaz, congrats!

Actually, they are the only ones that remain in my collection.
They others that were consigned can be found on EBAY as we speak - several have already sold...

I'm guessing the seller used the non-auto as a comp when pricing this card. I bought it before Bregman's injury. It has a very slight surface scuff, but it's not damaged in any way.
