Suspect there is a problem with packages marked with PCGS going missing. The address is the same and the initials are PCG

Great job, PCGS, but a little late. No address should any longer contain company name, even to point of changing box #'s regularly. JMO.
It would also be nice if a safe room could be added for drop offs by customer's with accounts. Think of the S/H+insurance fees people could save plus the safety of not having to ship coins. Obviously, this would only benefit closer customers, but still it would be quite a benefit to all. I'm sure a fee could be incorporated to assist PCGS or whoever with the cost. Just an idea.

I have always used "CU Receiving - Express" or if high value "CU Receiving- Walkthrough", never PCGS for that reason.

Though I was just looking at the submission form the other day and realized the address for Fedex packages changed to 7000 Barranca Parkway, Irvine CA 92618 and I don't know when that was implemented. I had their address saved in my Fedex account as 1610 E St Andrew Place Ste 150, Santa Ana 92705.

Does anyone know when this changed, and was there an email sent out that I missed?

Hmmm... I don't ship to pcgs but have some old .pdf form files.
A problem I see is that the current website has the 1610 but the forms have the 7000.
A 2022 form had 1610 but an April 2023 and the others past that that I have saved all have the 7000.

    Website link and information:
    https://www.pcgs.com/submissionguide

Down the page and Under Shipping Instructions:

Note: When mailing packages to PCGS, please be sure to tape the entire package. By taping the package well, you’ll reduce the chances of tampering during shipping and prevent items from slipping through the openings in the box.

Ship via USPS Registered Mail (registered, insured) or USPS Express Mail for safest delivery. Ship to: PCGS, P.O. Box 9458, Newport Beach, CA 92658.

If shipping via FedEx, ship to: CU RECEIVING, 1610 E. St Andrew Place, Suite 150 Santa Ana, California 92705. Packages to PCGS must be insured.

In light of current events, note that bit about duties and taxes. ATS has implemented a policy requiring (well, STRONGLY recommending) international submitters to use the international service centers so that coins can be processed through a "Temporary Importation under Bond (TIB) process".

Does anybody know if CU has something similar?

Technically it's not a new address, it's a new addressee.

Interesting Dan, a year or two ago I think (not sure though, I don't remember) I saw that and sent a package to the 7000 Barranca address and it got returned or rejected and I had the address "fixed" back to the 1610 address where it was accepted. As recently as a few months ago I shipped to 1610 St Andrew and it was fine.

For some reason, I am blocked from the PCGS website on my computer. I want to make a submission, but it is not allowing me on the website. Does anyone know why this might be and how to fix the situation? I have sent a couple of emails to PCGS customer service without any reply. Are they still active?

PCGS has a checking if you are human thing. If you are using a VPN or something else restricting (blockers) this could cause the "blocked".

they could chang to Paul C. George -Smythe but this forum would, at minimum, get questions about it. the result would be this forum at the top of the search list

perhaps a generic Paul C Graham would bury the site
