And its for sale on ebay (not mine) for you 1977 OPC registry guys.
Opening bid $350.
As a Penguin collector, I wouldn't mind having it, but I think I like my PSA8 better.
I'm not too impressed with the back of the PSA10.
Here is the card:

The back seems discolored and has weak print and what looks like staining.
Here is the PSA10 (left) vs my PSA8 (right). (I believe the blurriness of the PSA10 is poor scan quality):

    Front looks 10, back appears a weak 7 - back printing is horrid and the area around Y in Cey shoudl have caused the card to be lowered by at least 1 grade.

    Is the submitting entity known?

    front looks great. I would hope that back scan was just poorly done as the print quality does not look good.

    And all the PSA10 OPCs have the same yellow tone and splotch in the same position.

    Now that PSA has brought back minimum grade submissions, I wonder if the submitter was able to tell PSA, if it ain't a 10, send it back raw.

    Looks potentially sheet cut to me, and if others from the same sub have the same back issues that would make sense. Would also help explain 60 10’s surrounding this cert.

    That back is awful, definitely not the standard color of a 1977 OPC. This card should have an (ST) qualifier, or in lieu of a qualifier, should be graded a 7 or 8 max.

    @RonSportscards your 8 is a beauty, and much better than the 10. That's the color that 1977 OPC should be.

    That's plain silly...there is zero possible situation where someone can get that many PSA 10s in a row, let alone in an order, that consists of not only vintage, but vintage OPC cards....it has to be one of the preferred submitters...such an unfair playing field

    A few if-then-else statements, a sub routine or 2 and easy to accomplish.

    With modern automation workflows, algorithms and or AI agents no one even be the wiser except those who know....

    100% sarcasm. It's way more than just 60 PSA 10's in a row. Mainly football--- ranging from 1972-1982. Got some Garbage Pail Kids in there too certs 106188400's. Quite a few listed May 5th on eBay through the PSA vault. IMO, nobody in their right mind would send in the player selection of this sub without a "guarantee".

    The selection sent in meant that 10s were required in order to not lose money unless sub costs were reduced in excess of 55%.; which of course still does not explain the grades

    Is it clear how minimum grades work to everyone? Saw an article that made it seem like you had to be in some special Value Plus Plus unique membership group. If so, I completely dont get that. Feel like this should be available to everyone, not just cause its a nice offering to the customer.

    It would so work for PSA too. So customer gives PSA $20 and says if <9 dont slab. Their work is done and now they save money. They pay 0 for material costs to slab pay 0 for the labor required to deal with the next steps of an employee or employees slabbing the card, packaging etc. Just feels like a win win for them if any of us dont want a graded card on a weak grade.

    Have some 1980 Topps and 1984 Topps where its low POP in a 10 but I am close to certain most or all will not get the grade. Really dont want those in an 8, just give the card back and I dont want the plastic taking up space in my home.

    sheet cut Im guessing with the smooth edges and massive print flaws on the back. The back image has what like 70% of the print ink. So much white in that green. Just look at the PSA 7 OPC examples back. Most of the sheets have print flaws.
