Before these coins, I had no better date 20th Century Coins. I have collected Seated Coins and Gold only.

I know most folks collect higher grade type coins.
The quarter is 1921 NGC F-12. It had one of the sharpest dates for this grade, that I found.
The 1926-s 5c in a PCGS VF-30 CAC. The horn looks full to me.

Does anyone else go for a type set of semi keys or keys?

    This one would count!

    These are nicer though....

That 1913-s quarter is perfect for the grade! The nickels are in very high grades for keys. The toning on the 21-s
Buffalo is sublime! All of the coins are very nice!

I don't subscribe to your method of type collecting. I go for higher grade common coins.

    A Proof-67

This 1936 Proof Half Dollar is a better date, and as a PR-66 is almost as nice.

In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

All MS67+ - one for each of my grandkids.

Elevated grade! I like that the 67+ is 1/10 of the MS-68 price. It's in a sweet spot. Better chance of it going up again in price. Beautiful toning as well for all!!!
