Comments
Today it is this MAD nickel that I found in pocket change years ago.
How did NGC determine the date of the ike?
I have just one major error. I stopped looking after I found it - it has to be all downhill from here. 😃
I actually have 5.
1999 New Jersey quarter brockage.

1921-D Morgan $1 broadstrike

I have a lot of favorite "errors" that I have produced over the years. Most of them I do not have pictures of. Here is one I do have a picture of and it stands out because of the toning:
My primary focus the last few years has shifted from coin errors to paper money errors, so I'll show what is probably my top favorites for each:
Presumably there is a reverse design element visible on the other side of the struck L, which is obscured by the holder.

Both very cool, The 6x Struck Feeder Finger Dime is Incredible!!
Some really Fantastic pieces with great grades! I particularly like the:
(2000)P 5C Jefferson Over-Struck on a 2000-P 10C Roosevelt Dime and Reverse Missing Clad Layer!
Would be something I would purchase for my Collection!
Where is the mint mark on the 2000 dollar cap?
Thank you!!
I should have put my "1993-P 50C Kennedy Struck 5X Four Strikes 30% Off-Center PCGS MS65" as #4

Thanks... not much meat left on the coin but it's a fairly clean planchet, no corrosion, decent color, and the date was bold... I'm not an error specialist by any stretch... again, thanks for the clarification. Best, Leo

My guess is that it was effaced somewhere between the 50-75 strikes(amount of rings shown).
I handled this die cap over 20 years ago. It’s an amazing mint error!
Mike, I do have to mention that if I hadn't seen this article on your website years ago, I might not have been so aggressive trying to acquire this piece over the years. It's the Centerpiece of my Collection, Thank you!!
I like these two
