CSNS Newps, etc.

Had a great time at the CSNS show, as usual. Meeting up with and chatting with friends often takes priority over shopping. Thursday morning and early afternoon was pretty much booked solid for doing photos, so no shopping until mid-afternoon. Several of us went to the new Fogo de Chão for dinner. Great food and a good coin show restaurant, as there are cordless lamps on the tables that provide good coin viewing light. Not many restaurants that have that. They had just opened Monday and really had their act together for it only being their fourth night.
The special guest at the show was a sparrow that was flying around the bourse (without a badge) for much of the show. Unsure if it left any privy marks in unfortunate places. I also hope the hearing aid was reunited with its owner who wasn't going to be able to hear the announcement that it had been found.
As for newps, here they are. A nicely toned 1887/6 Morgan in 64, ironically from a dealer with a shop closer to my home than the 15 minute drive to the show.
The other is an 1818 O-104a 50c from Eye Appealing Coins.
I also have one more souvenir inbound from PCGS, but I don't know what it is yet. More on that when I do.

Sweet. The 18-104a is such a great variety.
BHNC #248 … 130 and counting.
I like the die crack through the bust in the 1818.
If you can't see them, I guess there's still a sporadic issue with externally hosted images. I'll upload them tonight.

Great looking Bust Half.
Thanks, John. Love the 18 die crack. Very nice.

Nice. Sounded busy. The reverse toning on the Morgan is something I have seen somewhat often. That is the blue with the rusty color center. Coincidentally I have an 1887 with a similar reverse look (as best I recall, maybe I should look again but not now
).
